A good mystery

Any additional comments?

This is Jasper’s story, a young man who becomes a retired magician’s assistant, set in the small town and farming suburbs of a small town. There are some magic and creature scenes but mostly it’s a pretty good mystery with murders to solve. They use mostly detective logic and it is well done.Good characters, kept me guessing, and a good ending. We don't need a sequel to finish the story but another would be welcome.

Mystery in a fantasy setting

This was a good change from most epic adventures, interesting characters and lots of FR as well as Cormyr setting.
