Fun Space Opera

The first part of the book summarizes the prior book. The middle and end are the current story. In this episode there is no action until the last part of the book. Nathan is attempting to gather more allies and ships for their fight against the Jung. While visiting a planet he is challenged to an obstacle race, but he has to fly their fighter plane while knowing this is a trick set up by the break away Jung tribe trying to take over the sector. This is when all the action begins including a space battle.

The book is well written. I have enjoyed all the books in the two series. They make a great escape read.

I read this as an audiobook downloaded from Audible. The book is almost eleven hours. Jeffrey Kafer does a suburb job narrating the series.

Expensive soap opera

I have enjoyed both parts of this series, however, in my opinion, it is expensive given the relative shortness of the books.

Unfortunately, the author keeps us in suspense so we will buy the next book. Like a soap opera, each book has a cliff hanger. I am ready to pull the plug on this series, albeit, it will be hard. Maybe wait until I see if the author ends the series, or just continues adding new books.

An exciting pleasure as always!

I felt for Nathan at the end. He seems to always be so close to having a lasting mentor only to have him taken away. Very emotional but exciting ending.

When books have fillers

Part 2 of the Frontiers Saga started off slow. Somehow, it's slowing down further. This is the book equivalent of filler TV episodes, which add little to the story as a whole. In fact, this is essentially Star Trek Voyager episode 7x03, "Drive". I kid you not. At the point where you're 20 books into the series you're probably, like me, still going to continue, but don't put this high on your priority list.

Enjoyed this adventure

I really enjoyed this part of the story arc. Smooth story where the last couple seemed like a lot of filler. I'm normally not into Samurai type Asian warrior storyline but this was an interesting angle that went well with the overall storyline. Cant wait for the next one.

This series is one of my favorites

From the Aurora to Nathan Scott, and the entire cast of characters I just can't get enough of this series. I love the story continues and hope that there is still a lot more to be told!
