A great book

this book is awsome it was written by a 17 year old but what i cant beliave is how he thought of all of this. this is like lord of the rings and harrypotter combined with a twist its sad and yet happy their are elves dwarves and yes dragons

Fantastic Book

This book is written really well. I see a lot of similarity to the LOTR but the story is unique. The book takes you through a journey of a young boy and from annonymity to fame & glory. Really fascinating. I am anxiously awaiting the rest of the books in the series.

Wow

I have listened to a number of audiobooks over the years. My favorite has been Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet. This has to be a close second. Wonderful story, wonderful prose, and wonderfully narrated.

I was so motivated that I finished this audiobook in record time and I will download the second book now. I typically do not choose fantasy and consider myself more of a science fiction fan. I am glad that I purchased this book and will not rest until I have completed the series.

Favorite Series

I've read this series twice. Once when I was in elementary school (and I read Inheritance whenever I was in middle school) and once again I re-read the series whenever I was a Junior in high school. I Graduated in 2016 and have been yearning for some kind of dopamine release that could make me feel happy and free again and thought about Eragon. Needless to say I immediately bought the audible edition (I have little time to sit down and read) and I have no regrets. Time to read the other three!

12-year-old son LOVED it!

I got this audiobook for my 12-year-old for Christmas. He raved about it and keeps asking when Eragon 2 will be available!

Excellent, however

I did enjoy this book very much but something was wrong in the narration, I figured it out when I saw the movie. I strongly feel that this book should have had more than one narrator. After seeing the movie, which is something I rarely do after reading a book, I realized that Safira's voice should have been done by a woman. There was just something about a female voice that made her more alive and real. In all the movie did get the basics but the book is so much richer.

I Love The Series!!!

My ONLY.... complaint?? Not really a complaint, but didn't really like the voice for Saphira.
Other than that, I'm already downloading the second book.
I've read them all, but really enjoying listening to the story again!!!

I loved it! but not the dragon's voice...

I loved everything! the story. the performance. but the dragon's voice is just doesn't suit her. it sounds like an old man. that s the only part that i don't like.
all and all Its a great listen!
