Star Wars Dark Legends Audio Adventures

Thoroughly enjoyed these horror-like adventures around the Halloween period.

These short stories were published before to read, but this Audio Adventure had great voice-acting and a sense of mystery, suspense and horror.

It’s camp

This was so interesting to listen to 😂 it’s like so bad it’s good. The writing is good and the narration is good, it’s just the plots 😂 they’re kinda all over the place. It’s somewhere between the twilight zone and HP love craft. The vibe of these stories isn’t really that there’s a moral, it’s more like “wouldn’t this be effed up” and it is 😂 I really liked the orphanage and the predecessor. It’s hilariously exactly what you expect.

Spooky Tales set in a Galaxy Far, Far Away

The stories in this audiobook were originally published a while ago. It is great to finally see an audiobook version, though it is not from Random House Audio, which does such a wonderful job with the adult Star Wars novels. This is an attempt to have a Halloween style set of Star Wars tales as fables. It is canon, so there are tie ins to some of the other canon books. Canon tends to downgrade certain beings and the changes are sad for those of us who know legends. The Nightsisters would not cower from a Sith, just as Jedi were far more powerful. Narration was perfect for this title.

Disappointing

Meh. The stories were just bland and the reader was just as bland. Not worth the effort to listen to

great narrator, loved the voice.

Loved the stories, perfect for the Halloween season. Familiar characters and different ones too! Great narrator.

Enjoyable but it is short. Overall very pleased with the stories and how they were narrated.

It worth the time

It was bleeee. So much better books out there. This is just not worth. I like Star Wars too…

Not starwars. Boring

As I said. This isn’t starwars. Just random ghost stories. Narrators is a good kid story narrator but the voice gets old fast.

The Most Dissatisfying 3 Hours on Audible

I'm not sure I could have been more disappointed in a collection of short stories star wars related. I'll pass on the rest of these.

Uninspired “storytelling”

I enjoyed the narrator, but the stories were retreads of tales that have been told time and again with The Force and lightsabers tossed in.
Had I paid for this I would have asked, nay DEMANDED a refund.
