Publisher's Summary

Carnage is now a number-one best seller in Dystopian Science Fiction, number one in War and Military Action Fiction, and an Amazon overall Top 100 best seller.

Alpha team looks the devil in the eye.

After recovering Patient Zero, Alpha must escape Africa to end the ZA once and for all. But they can feel the hot breath of a reinforced and vengeful Spetsnaz team on their necks - and there can be no escaping the reckoning of an ultimate sniper showdown between Ali and Vasily, and an incomparably brutal iron-cage Texas death match between Predator and Misha. For the first time, all the teams will come together and must fight as brothers for any chance of making it back to Britain. And only one thing is certain - not everyone is walking away from this one.

One Troop rallies against decimation and defeat.

After rescuing Aliyev, One Troop is pinned down in Red Square between a surging singularity and the merciless killers of Spetsnaz Alfa Group. They're about to lose their second aircraft, they still don't have the zombie-killing MZ, and the clock is ticking down on their pinhole of escape. Only the most vicious and desperate gambit can give them a chance of saving London, not to mention themselves - but Jameson refuses to fail.

The crew of the Kennedy battles back.

With the bridge and most critical stations held by the world's deadliest maritime commando force and Dr. Park pinned down by a smash-mouth battle and last stand in the ship's hospital, time is running out for the shell-shocked and outgunned crew of the JFK to fight back. The ultimate heroism and sacrifice of everyone from storekeepers all the way up to Commander Drake himself will be required to fight their way back from the brink....

Defiance. Valor. Consecration. Carnage.

Fuchs brings it again

It was great! Really fun listening and once again I find myself utterly mentally exhausted by all the twists and turns at the end of the story. Can't wait for book 13!!!

very good series

finally some of the bad guys die and some of the good guys too. having people who always survive everything to live on to the next book starts to get really annoying. only complaint of the series.

played out storyline

This series started out as one of the best ZA storylines written. Now it's less about Zs and more about impulsive non-tactical battles between US and Russian forces. I'm mititary, grew up in military family... this narrative is just fluff; feels like the author is extending a played-out storyline.

Loved the earlier stuff but the last couple of books are just rewriting the same dramstic arcs and conflicts over and over.

repetitive and uninspired

I really had a hard time finishing this one. So many of the fights were so drawn out and repetitive that I got bored and just tuned out until there was an advance in the plot.

Such an incredible series

I have always loved the zombie genre and this series delivers on that big time. But, they have all been page turners when it comes to action, character development and military warfare. There is so much to enjoy. The throwing in of classic movie dialog is priceless. I started this journey on a whim and have been taken on the world wind. Finally, what can't be said about RC Bray's performance. He is a treasure to the series and audible in general. Get this series.

Now I can breathe.

The term, ''non-stop action'', doesn't do justice to the conclusion of this epic series. Such a great set of stories with so many great characters! R.C. Bray makes each and every character come alive in a unique way. Get this audiobook RFN!!!

Edit: after listening to the entire series again I now feel like there are some questions that really shouldn't remain unanswered; perhaps in a series of standalone novels.

worst book in this series yet.

to the author not every sentence in the military is an acronym you'd have to spend four years learning how to speak to people , now wouldn't you? and you don't have to explain every type of caliber weapon being used every time . and also most special ops carry Nato rounds. for obvious reasons. and it's also head over tea kettle. and to everybody else this is the longest take off of an aircraft in history. I mean didn't you ever see a plane take off there's not time for all this crap and you can't run up on top of a speeding aircraft are jump around on wings and fix engines. I really love the part where the special forces would not use their small weapons. because they were worried about shooting up the plane. really? you think the bad asses you prepare them to be . could probably shoot you in the head with a nine meal that's not going to go through anything else . although I digress I'm going to get my money back because this whole story only needed the theme to Benny Hill to make it perfectly ridiculous. and by the way the black shark helicopter that you referred to is one of the bigger pieces of crap put out by the Russians. and I cannot fly backwards.

Needs 10 stars all round, just awesome!

This is the best series I've come across even if the genre is a little out of my usual zone and these books have fast become one, I'd listen to again. (something that I'd never do, so so many great books out there)

The story lines that follow these characters just has you on the edge of your seat. Your heart in your throat and tears streaming down your cheeks.

Of course it is one of the hardest books on you emotionally. These characters you've come to love over the course of what 100 hours of listening! so as everything heads to the final battles and towards closure. It's enough to drive you wild.

I did think this was the last, but it seems that there's more, omg I seriously can't wait. But there are a good few story lines that do need final closure.

Huge thank you to RC Bray who nails these characters and the tone and setting. And of course, thank you to the writer. :) you both rock.

:) ps when is the next one out..... hahah

Another non stop rollercoaster installment

Exciting and emotional. Normally I would have tired of a series this long but it continues to get better. RC Bray is at his best.

Gloriose enim magnificatus est ridiculum!

Please forgive the undoubtedly poor Latin translation but this is so genuinely "Gloriously Ridiculous" that it felt like it needed something more grandiose as a title! This is yet another massively high octane episode of the Arisen series. A book that lasts twice as long as the events it describes and yet feels like it is running at absolutely breakneck pace from start to finish. It scales the heights of absurdity at times but if that's a problem to you then you wouldn't have got this far. This one does though feature some super-hero like performances from some of the operators at times!

I know that some people think this series needs to be brought to a conclusion and I do accept the point but I will sure miss it when it's over and done. There are hints in this one that we are not too far from the end in "Carnage".

As for the narration . . . well who else could do one of these but RC Bray? A man who could read me the telephone directory for an hour and make it sound exciting. So, if you liked what went before and want some more then hit the purchase button without fear. If you're new to the Arisen series then start from the beginning; if you like this kind of thing you won't regret it.

Release book 13 already

Check online regularly but no book 13 yet! I potentially have some form of zombie R.C.Bray addiction I don't mind admitting. A really good take on the zombie genre, well written and brilliantly read. If you like zombie stories I just can't see you being disappointed with this series.

Pred needs some serious counselling

Another fantastic action packed chapter in my favourite series by far ever. Amazingly read by Mr Bray. Great characters in action packed set pieces. My only gripe is I wanted to see how London was fairing. I simply cannot wait for the last instalment.
