Publisher's Summary

Carnage is now a number-one best seller in Dystopian Science Fiction, number one in War and Military Action Fiction, and an Amazon overall Top 100 best seller.

Alpha team looks the devil in the eye.

After recovering Patient Zero, Alpha must escape Africa to end the ZA once and for all. But they can feel the hot breath of a reinforced and vengeful Spetsnaz team on their necks - and there can be no escaping the reckoning of an ultimate sniper showdown between Ali and Vasily, and an incomparably brutal iron-cage Texas death match between Predator and Misha. For the first time, all the teams will come together and must fight as brothers for any chance of making it back to Britain. And only one thing is certain - not everyone is walking away from this one.

One Troop rallies against decimation and defeat.

After rescuing Aliyev, One Troop is pinned down in Red Square between a surging singularity and the merciless killers of Spetsnaz Alfa Group. They're about to lose their second aircraft, they still don't have the zombie-killing MZ, and the clock is ticking down on their pinhole of escape. Only the most vicious and desperate gambit can give them a chance of saving London, not to mention themselves - but Jameson refuses to fail.

The crew of the Kennedy battles back.

With the bridge and most critical stations held by the world's deadliest maritime commando force and Dr. Park pinned down by a smash-mouth battle and last stand in the ship's hospital, time is running out for the shell-shocked and outgunned crew of the JFK to fight back. The ultimate heroism and sacrifice of everyone from storekeepers all the way up to Commander Drake himself will be required to fight their way back from the brink....

Defiance. Valor. Consecration. Carnage.

It was great! Really fun listening and once again I find myself utterly mentally exhausted by all the twists and turns at the end of the story. Can't wait for book 13!!!

    "Such an incredible series"

I have always loved the zombie genre and this series delivers on that big time. But, they have all been page turners when it comes to action, character development and military warfare. There is so much to enjoy. The throwing in of classic movie dialog is priceless. I started this journey on a whim and have been taken on the world wind. Finally, what can't be said about RC Bray's performance. He is a treasure to the series and audible in general. Get this series.

The term, ''non-stop action'', doesn't do justice to the conclusion of this epic series. Such a great set of stories with so many great characters! R.C. Bray makes each and every character come alive in a unique way. Get this audiobook RFN!!!

Fuchs is a machine and this was the best of the Arisen series yet. Hilarious, nerve-wracking, even inspiring. Great stuff.

    "Favorite series on Audible!"

Best books I've listened to on Audible. Always have looked forward to next one in series. R.C. Bray Is excellent . Not sure if this is the last book in the series but if it is I'll be kind of sad. Thinking about going back to the beginning and starting it again. Go back and see what I might have missed the first listen.

"Best Military Zombie fiction there is..."
Would you consider the audio edition of Carnage to be better than the print version?

I prefer the audio versions because I believe the author aids in voice production and adds an additional dimension to the audio book. In my opinion, it adds a dimension more than books can provide and more than movies. Audiobook provide additional information on the characters (with good performance) but you still get to imagine the environment and the vision of the characters.

What did you like best about this story?

The detail. There are scenes in the audio book that last seconds in real time and takes 10 minutes in the audio book. Also, the equipment detail. I have been meaning to check out a Black Shark to really see what it has.

What about R. C. Bray’s performance did you like?

Love RC Bray. Typically look for audio books he performs because he fits with books that I like. For example The Fear Saga, Hell Divers and Mountain Man fit in with Arisen and alot of RC's other works. Occasionally, this has not worked because he does alot performances, so don't blindly order his audio books.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Should be a movie. I was just thinking this as the book ended.Tag line (Includes whole series) = "Arisen - Survive for Tomorrow"

    Any additional comments?

I listen to almost all the decent zombie fiction and this is one of the best if you also enjoy military fiction. Generally, I don't fill these out but this is the longest zombie series that has gotten better and better with each book.

    "Gloriose enim magnificatus est ridiculum!"

Please forgive the undoubtedly poor Latin translation but this is so genuinely "Gloriously Ridiculous" that it felt like it needed something more grandiose as a title! This is yet another massively high octane episode of the Arisen series. A book that lasts twice as long as the events it describes and yet feels like it is running at absolutely breakneck pace from start to finish. It scales the heights of absurdity at times but if that's a problem to you then you wouldn't have got this far. This one does though feature some super-hero like performances from some of the operators at times!

I know that some people think this series needs to be brought to a conclusion and I do accept the point but I will sure miss it when it's over and done. There are hints in this one that we are not too far from the end in "Carnage".

As for the narration . . . well who else could do one of these but RC Bray? A man who could read me the telephone directory for an hour and make it sound exciting. So, if you liked what went before and want some more then hit the purchase button without fear. If you're new to the Arisen series then start from the beginning; if you like this kind of thing you won't regret it.

"Needs 10 stars all round, just awesome!"

This is the best series I've come across even if the genre is a little out of my usual zone and these books have fast become one, I'd listen to again. (something that I'd never do, so so many great books out there)

The story lines that follow these characters just has you on the edge of your seat. Your heart in your throat and tears streaming down your cheeks.

Of course it is one of the hardest books on you emotionally. These characters you've come to love over the course of what 100 hours of listening! so as everything heads to the final battles and towards closure. It's enough to drive you wild.

I did think this was the last, but it seems that there's more, omg I seriously can't wait. But there are a good few story lines that do need final closure.

Huge thank you to RC Bray who nails these characters and the tone and setting. And of course, thank you to the writer. :) you both rock.

:) ps when is the next one out..... hahah

If I'm halfway through another audio book and I hear the next Arisen book has just been released, I immediately stop, download said new Arisen book (whilst excitedly giggling like a school girl) and just start listening. Everything else is secondary. Yet again this series lives up to my expectations. If you're reading this then chances are you've already the books before, so what are you doing?? Download this right now solider!
