best of the trap series

the characters were well built up and the story had a nice flow - the intimate part was unrealistic given the disposition of Eliza as a wallfower, but past that, it was a nice read. Narrator was amazing.

No So Much

This installment was not as good as the others. I had a good news story, some good passion, and the predictable ending – like I buy these books for other reasons. I found that Eliza’s reticence annoying – after a while. I understood it earlier in the book but then things go along well and wham, she is back in her quivering bubble. I found myself fast forwarding through cajoling her out of the ‘attack’ of crippling shyness, then the next scene she is no so shy at all. I felt sorry for the losing suitor – there had to be one, and I really enjoyed the narrator, Bianca Amato. She did a superb job.

Not a bad listen all in all but I liked the other ones much better.

Fun Read

Not as good as the first book in the series but still a fun read. I would recommend.

The books is the reason I bought the series

What did you love best about The Wedding Trap?

I loved this book! It was a pleasant surprise because I thought it would just be okay. I loved the characters, the storyline, well everything really.

What did you like best about this story?

The plot was so interesting because it's similiar to other books but still different enough that the reader is not sitting there thinking I've heard this storyline before.

What does Bianca Amato bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She bought the characters alive. At times I felt like I was actually listening to the characters speaking.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Not that I can recall particularly and that's just because it's been awhile since I listened to this book.

Any additional comments?

I recommend this book and there are not many books I would actually recommend but this one is a winner for sure.

Extraordinary narration

This story is good and it builds up the romance really nicely. But what really stands out here is the superb narration done by Bianca Amato. I don't understand why there are so few books narrated by her! The way this narrator adds intensity to the story is superb. You feel what each character is feeling. Very few narrators really make a story come alive the way she does. If you like historical romances you will really enjoy this book.

Trap series; Fabulous!

Beautifully written! The characters are blissful and intriguing. The story does seem to lag on in some areas; which, was probably caused from my own inpatients. However, I still think the series deserves a big fat five(5) stars! I enjoyed these stories that much and, I would recommend to all with great enthusiasm!

Steamy stuff

This third book in the series was quite delightful. I found all three were very different plots so I did not feel bored and as if the same story line was being used. The last two in the series did remind me of other familiar stories. Book 2- The Wife trap- like the taming of the shrew. And this last book- the wedding trap- reminded me of the movie Gigi or the main character Eliza reminding me of Eliza Doolittle from My Fair Lady. I found this last book the steamiest. There was so much chemistry between Kit and Eliza. Loved the series. Well done and the books were aptly titled.

Same oh same oh

I've heard so many historic love story they are begging to sound the same. Girl is virgin wallflower or bookworm in love with the bad boy who do not wish to marry, and somehow they are finally thrown together and he finally notices her fall in love and live happily ever after. It's well worth the credit if you like happy ending and a well played out story that sound much like the other ones (smile)
