BARRETT LANDRY has it all. Power, prestige, and plenty of women, the dapper politician's life is pretty phenomenal. But in the midst of the biggest campaign of his life, he needs to focus. The last thing he can afford is a distraction. ALISON BAKER is a work-in-progress. As a single mother to HUXLEY, she's rebuilding life on her terms. She's focused on family, faith, and a future for her son that can't be taken away. Putting her child first means not being careless, no matter what.
Mallory Sims is late for her first day of work. After spilling her tea, she discovers she has no gas in her car. Add that her arm keeps sticking to her dress from syrup left on the console of her car, flustered feels like an understatement. Then she sees her new boss. Graham Landry is the epitome of NSFW in his custom-fit suit, black-rimmed glasses, and a look so stern, her libido doesn't stand a chance. Being flustered is just the start of her problems. Her punctuality is only the start of his.
I'm that guy. Camilla Landry rustles against me, the silky fabric of her overpriced lingerie slipping along my bruised rib. The porcelain perfection of her skin is even more innocent against the colorful ink dotting my own. It's demure meets damaged, pampered meets punctured.
Ellie Pagan has a list of reasons to stay away from Ford Landry. Ford gets Ellie isn't his biggest fan. He just doesn't care. Standing in front of him, giving him hell, she's even prettier than he remembered. All he can think about is how she felt in his arms, the taste of her kiss, the sound of her giggle in the middle of the night. He may not know how to win her back, but he does know this: he may have let her go once, but that's one mistake he won't make again.
This is one mistake Sienna Landry can't buy her way out of. As Walker Gibson looks at her, then at the damage to his precious truck (that she may or may not have accidentally inflicted), she knows she's in trouble. It's not the busted headlight and dented grill that's sunk her though. It's the downright sinful man in front of her that's the problem. The small-town mechanic is broody. Rough. Smells like engine grease and gasoline, and Sienna isn't sure why that's so sexy, but it is. It so is.
Jada Stanley is starting over - freeing herself from her past and all her mistakes. Following the rules she's given herself is easy enough, until she meets him. He's gorgeous, cocky, and everything she needs to avoid, but that's easier said than done.

Brynne Calloway knows that anything that seems too good to be true usually is. Fenton Abbott and his cashmere voice, Adonis body, and a magnetism like no other clearly falls into that category. But what's life without a little risk? It was supposed to be a rebound, an uncomplicated escape from reality. But nothing ever goes as planned. Fenton turns out to be so much more in ways Brynne never sees coming.
My life changed forever the night my husband died.... I was left with a shattered heart, a heap of bills, and our daughter, Everleigh. I don't want to rely on anyone, least of all Crew Gentry. He's my first love and the man who almost destroyed me, the man who has let me down every time I've needed him. But when tragedy strikes a second time, Crew just might be my only hope.
The first time the local basketball star smiled at Elin, she was a goner. It was just so damn easy to fall for the dark-haired hometown hero with his charming smile and strong, athletic build. Thousands of sleepy smiles, aimless drives down country roads, and squeaks of the backdoor after a swing shift later, reality hits. And it hits hard. Falling in love was definitely the easy part. Watching it break apart was impossible.
Have my baby. That was what my single-dad best friend, Seth, said to me while I was waitressing at the diner. His little girl wants a sibling. But Seth is a workaholic millionaire and doesn't have time to meet someone. Someone who won't screw him over, like his kid's mother. Only problem is this someone has secretly been in love with him since high school. I've been hiding it forever, not wanting to risk our friendship.
I’ve always been the person that does whatever someone tells me I can’t. Can’t graduate with a four-point-oh? Check. Can’t win a modeling contract without trying? Did it. Check. Can’t make it in the pro football league? Triple check with an MVP Award on top. When my best friend told me to stay away from his little sister, Layla, it didn’t sound like a challenge. Then again, I’d never seen her before. He obviously wasn’t thinking about who he was talking to if he believed I could ignore her.
How to kick off a great summer in the Hamptons: Snag a gorgeous rental on the beach. Check. Get a job at a trendy summer haunt. Check. How to screw up a great summer in the Hamptons: Fall for the one guy with a dark leather jacket, scruff on his face, and intense eyes that doesn’t fit in with the rest of the tony-looking crowd. A guy you can’t have when you’ll be leaving at the end of the season. Check. Check. Check.
I'm one puff piece away from tearing up my journalism degree and hurling my laptop into the Hudson River. So when I smell a juicy story brewing at my brother's Wall Street investment firm, I'll do whatever it takes to get my scoop. One clever disguise later, I'm deep undercover as the firm's newest broker, simultaneously gathering intel and spouting off stock tips like a boss. Go me, right? Sure, it sounds good on paper, but there's a catch: the actual boss. Chief Executive Panty-melter Jack Holt is cocky. Infuriating. And one smoldering look has me ready to violate every rule in the employee handbook. Thank God my assignment has an expiration date. Because falling for my brother's best friend and business partner is a lose-lose proposition. Right?
At 34, I'm reeling from a divorce. I don't want to party or try to move on. I just want to stay home and post a new recipe on my blog: Brynn's Dips and Balls. But my friends aren't having it. Get out there again, they say. It will be fun, they say. I'm still taking a hard pass. Free designer cocktails, they say. And that's a game-changer. Too bad my ex shows up with his new arm candy. That's when I lose my mind.
I'm a reporter, and I've got the best assignment in the world - get dirt on the hottest country star on the charts, Keith Perkins. The sexy beast who rocks those tight jeans like nobody's business. I'm supposed to learn all of his Dirty Laundry, his deepest and darkest secrets. Without sleeping with him. Easy enough, right? Wrong. I mean, just looking at him makes me wonder what those big, rough hands could do to me. With a voice that's one part velvet and one part growl, it's hard for me to sass him when he melts me into a puddle with a single look.
Lucas Thorn wasn't born a cheater. All it took was a single moment - say, a certain disastrous incident on the night before his wedding - and boom. Reputation destroyed forever and always. So now he owns it. He has a lady friend for every night of the week (except Sundays - God's day and all), and his rules are simple: No commitments. No exceptions. But a certain smart-mouthed, strawberry blonde vixen is about to blow that all to hell.
Songwriter Dylan McCoy has been burned. By her boyfriend she found in her bed...with someone else. By the contract she signed that obligates her to work with him until the songs for his new album are complete. By her agent when she asked Dylan to keep their breakup on the down-low. When she finds herself in Sunnyville, she refuses to let her new roommate burn her too. Still...a rebound has never looked so good.
We met in a trapped elevator. Emmett was on his way to work, sophisticated and handsome in his tailored suit and tie. I was on my way to the sperm bank. Awkward, right? At 35, my life hadn't taken the path I thought it would and I was tired of waiting - I wanted a baby. And I was ready to take matters into my own hands to make it happen. After our ill-fated elevator encounter, Emmett insisted on taking me to dinner - he also insisted on something else - that I ditch my plan involving a turkey baster and let him do the job. He would be my baby daddy.
Screw him and his perfect stats. Sinful smirk. Delicious body. Lincoln Landry probably even has game-winning stamina.
I'd like to screw her and her perfect ass. Dangerous curves. Sweet smile. Danielle Ashley probably even has a game-changing personality.
There's no denying the chemistry between them. It's so fiery, it's undeniable. They partake in it. Enjoy it.
They really enjoy it.
Attraction is not a problem. Nor is their banter, relationship status, or habits. That's all fine. Perfect, actually.
The problem is as tangled up as their sheets.
Just when you think you can't love the Landry Family anymore we get to see more of them and get to experience all that is Lincoln. I loved Barrett but oohwiii Lincoln is a whole other level. Him and Danielle are on fire and even through the tough times their connection is strong. I was giggling at times with the way Lincoln is and the way his mind works and body temp rising others. Such a beautiful story and to see Danielle stand up for herself and be that strong woman is perfect. Great story and I hope we get to go deeper into the family in the near future. Landry Family all the way! This is my voluntary and unbiased review

From the first book in this addictive series I really didn't think I could love the Landry family any more than I already did.. but I was oh so wrong. This listen brought home just how close they are as a tight family unit - they're there for one another no matter what no matter when and I find that so inspiring. So it's no wonder that I fell hard for the baby of the family - the sweet, caring, carefree Baseball Superstar Lincoln Landry as he so easily falls in love. But it's convincing her and keeping her that's going to be the problem for this drool-worthy loveable hero who has never had to work for it before.
Danielle Ashley has had a bitter childhood of abandonment and neglect by her absentee parents - her Baseball Star Father and his devoted wife/her Mother so Danielle vows she will never fall into the trap of loving a sportsman who would constantly be away and will choose his sport's career over family life every single time. Nope, no way, not ever.. then she sees charismatic Lincoln Landry and her push/pull riot of emotions start because their chemistry is undeniable, the sex is fantastic and Lincoln could be everything she ever wanted. But Lincoln's at the top of his game, is only off because of a shoulder injury which is slowly healing and his contract is coming up for renewal so their future together is looking more and more doubtful - and nobody could've foreseen the cruel twist of fate.
Apart from the storyline which is filled with loveable characters, sexy times that make you swoon and easy banter between siblings, friends and lovers, the thing I love THE most about Adriana Locke's writing skills is the profound and very touching sentiments shared between lovers that tug at your emotions and leave you swooning for more. It's got a sweet Epilogue too. The dual POV narration was perfect thanks to Kai and Wen who each stick to their own genders voices and it gives the listen a more realistic natural flow.
Worth a credit? Yes absolutely - a very enjoyable character driven romance with relationship drama as two emotionally tortured lovers compromise to get their heart's desire. Ms Locke has already put the seeds in place within this listen for her next character to get their own book and I simply can't wait.

I could have done without the sex scenes. But that's just me. Other than skipping over those parts I enjoyed the book.

OMG! I guess I should just keep a spare pair lying around when I'm listening to the Landry family. I know I'm biased because Adriana Locke is one of my favorite authors but this chick writes the most amazing stories with very compelling characters. Lincoln Landry is just delicious with a cherry on top. Love the chemistry and sexual tension between Lincoln and Danielle right from their first meeting -- they keep you rooting for them. The family relationships just add more layers to the story and whets our appetites for whose story is next.
The narrators are awesome! It is so easy listening to Kai and Wen, they bring so much passion and emotions to the story. This is another hit for them.
This enticing romance is absolutely worth the credit.

Due to being one of the amazing and so full of love books, I started this book this morning and could not put it down. It's been a while since I finished a book in a day. There are no words to express how much I simply loved this book. I really hope everyone who enjoys an awesome book reads this. Just loved this book.

Those southern sexy Landry men are so irresistible and Lincoln is the leader of the pack with his cocky, fun loving easy charm. He can have any woman he wants but his sights are set on the only woman who doesn't want him. Danielle Ashley is fun and easy to be around. She is interested in him and not just his baseball stats. Danielle is totally turned on by Linc's confidence, big athletic body, and his determination. But she also melts when he is kind, funny and thoughtful. But she is alone in the world and wants more in her life. She doesn't want to be a second choice and won't let herself fall for a man who loves a sport more than her. But Linc is determined to make her see him for more than a baseball player. When team business throws him a curveball, will Linc strikeout and leave Dani stranded on base? Linc and Dani are so good for each other. They make each other laugh, they have great chemistry, witty banter and their passion is off the charts. We also get to fall in love all over again with the whole Landry family as we witness their unconditional supportive relationships along with the fun sibling banter. Graham played a large part in this book and I can't wait for his story!
Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross were so much fun to listen to. They work well together in this dual narration and I was easily lost in this story.
I loved this second book in the Landry Family series. If you enjoy fun, sexy, and heartfelt sports romance stories, then you will definitely love this book!
This book was fantastic! When I first picked it up I put it down for 3 months because I was bored. But then I finally picked it back up and gave it more air time and it ended up blowing me out of the water. These characters made sacrifices for each other that made my heart melt! Loved it so much!
A pro baseball player meets a woman and he finds out there are more ways than one to hit a home run. Wen and Kai are a great combination to hit the narration out of the ballpark! Home run all the way around!
If you could sum up Swing in three words, what would they be?
how could you not love Lincoln!?
Only reason it is a 4 and not a 5 is because I wanted more. I felt like there was something missing, I just can't figure out what it was
What about Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross ’s performance did you like?
I have been listening to a lot of their books, I need to take a break from the two of them for a little while.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I laughed. I cried. I want Lincoln for myself
couldn't get past the second chapter because of how this book was narrated, really, really horrible!
Where does Swing rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Wow! This is definitely the best of the series so far! I loved Danielle and Lincoln as individuals but together as a couple is where they're most strongest. They really bounce of each other and their chemistry is undeniably woah! There's no major drama in their story but it really didn't need it at all. Loved it!
Which character – as performed by Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross – was your favourite?
Lincoln! He's in a league of his own!
