Publisher's Summary

This is the second book in the Black Shadows duet and the explosive conclusion to Cass and Calder's love story that started in Gold Shimmer. You must hear Gold Shimmer before hear Steel Rush

Cass has spent years trying to forget her past. But the thing about pasts...they always come back around, sometimes in the most unexpected ways. When Celeste goes missing, Cass discovers how intricately entangled her past and present are with Celeste's, making it impossible to walk away.

In an effort to ignore his own painful history, Calder challenges a corrupt, underground organization, but his mission gets sidelined when Cass's life becomes endangered.

The passion simmering between Calder and Cass tempts them to share their darkest secrets, but can their trust in each other help them unravel the mystery surrounding Celeste? Can they eliminate the threat to Cass before the past overshadows the present and destroys their intense connection?

Note: Steel Rush is meant for listeners 18+ due to mature content. This is the second book in the Black Shadows duet, Cass and Calder's love story. The first book, Gold Shimmer, must be heard before Steel Rush. The Black Shadows duet (books 4 and 5) can be heard as a stand-alone story or as part of the In the Shadows series.

"Ravenmine"

A amazingly hot, twisted, & suspenseful story!! BTW....Calder can collar me anytime!!! I will never look at dog tags the same again! Yum!!!
Cass & Calder's story will have your heart racing throughout the entire book! Lance & Kirsten are awesome narrators and totally rock this story! This is definitely worth the credit along with the entire "In the Shadows" series!

OMG good

It is not a stand alone book ... with that said The whole series is very good...and I really recommend it...
But I would not suggest spending a credit with the books... it is much cheaper to buy the kindle edition and add the audio...

Vulnerable Women

Why do writers consistently make the female leads these weak and vulnerable women. Yes, sexual assault is awful, but it does not always become so overwhelming that women will become whimpering masses of jello in stressful situations.
This is so irritating and ruins an otherwise decent storyline.
