Publisher's Summary

On her first visit to Clan Stonefire, Department of Dragon Affairs inspector Evie Marshall has an ulterior motive - she needs to seduce its clan leader. If she can't seduce him and become his mate, the dragon hunters will kill her. Of course, Evie doesn't know the first thing about seducing a man, let alone a dragon-shifter, but with her life on the line, she's going to have to become a fast learner or die trying.

Bram Moore-Llewellyn has a track record of scaring off DDA inspectors, but when the latest inspector shows up wearing tight clothes and a sexy smile, his inner dragon takes notice. While battling his attraction to the human, he soon finds himself with an impossible choice: he can either break the law to mate the female and risk a backlash from both the dragon hunters and the British government, or he can turn her away and let her die at the hands of the hunters.

The title is perfect.

If you could sum up Seducing the Dragon in three words, what would they be?

Best "Laid" Plans.

What did you like best about this story?

It would be taking the easy way out to say everything. I have previously read the book. IT was my introduction to the wonderful world of Jessie Donovan's world of Dragons. I was hooked and have read everything since. Now I get to listen as well.

What does Matthew Lloyd Davies bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Matthew Lloyd Davies voice is enticing and perfect for the location accents. The dragons are so wonderful creatures inside the hot domineering men they reside in. He brings each of the characters alive and tells the wonderful story in a way that makes it live for the listener. As I have read the story this is an enhancement that allows me to relax and just enjoy the new version with voice.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Evie's attempts at seduction made me laugh. Bram's tenderness with the baby made me tear up. And of course, as with Sacrifice to the Dragon, the dragon's internal conversations with Bram were hysterical--randy creature.

Any additional comments?

You will fall for Bram--sexy all alpha male, put your fist in the air with a "Yea you go girl" for feisty Evie as she stands up to him even with her gutsy offer. The story tells of a woman in trouble using a daring plan to get the dragon leader to protect her when the human leaders refuse. A curvy woman with a serious lacking, but still willing to make the effort to SEDUCE THE DRAGON.

Another Great Listen!

Like with the first one I was worried about a male doing all the voices. But he did very well. I was very pleased with how he changed his voice with each character! Cant wait for the next one!

Seducing the dragon: Stonefire #2! Is on fire!!

What I really liked about Seducing the Dragon is how Evie and Bram begin their story. One sassy, goal driven, yet vulnerable woman, on a mission to seduce the clan leader of the Stonefire dragons is absolutely refreshing! Bram, being the very serious leader who has “given up” being mated, finding love in such a way that you cheer this perfectly matched couple on their journey.

Not only do you get a romance story, but the suspense and danger from “turncoat” shifters and dragon hunters makes this book difficult to turn off for the night. Seducing the Dragon is one very well written and narrated dragon shifter romance. I am excited to start #3 as this series makes the characters so interesting that you can never get enough.

Second Book of A Great Series

A series you will not want to put down. I loved the second book in the series Seducing The Dragon . Each book is about a different couple of the Stonefire Dragon Clan. Jessie draws you into the series.great Characters, story and more. I wish I could be part of The Stonefire Dragon and have my own Dragon. It does not matter if you read or listen or both. You will feel you are there with the Stonefire Dragon Clan and you will never what to leave . I cannot wait to read the next book in the series,

Loved Bram and Evie.

This is the second book in a really great series written by Jessie Donovan. It features the Stone fire Dragons strong headed alpha clan leader Bram Moore-Llewellyn and Department of Dragon Affairs (DDA) inspector Evie Marshall.

Evie's main goal is to seduce Bram and his inner dragon or her very life could be in danger from the dragon hunters. A feat she doesn't know the first thing about accomplishing especially since she already has the odds stacked up against her due to the fact she could never be a dragons true mate. Unfortunately Evie can not bare a dragon mans' offspring, the main requirement for not only Bram's dragon but the DDA itself.

I loved the banter between Bram and Evie, they were a fun couple to listen to. There were also a couple of other stories begin told in this book that gives you hints about up and coming stories. Ones I can't wait to listen to.

The book was an awesome read but listening to Bram fight with his inner dragon was so much better with an added accent that you just don't get between the pages. I received an arc of this audio for an honest review.

Loved it

I can't say how thrilled i am to listen to Bram's book!
Can't wait to listen to the next book!
Thats the thing with Jessie's stories.
They are addictive and along with the narrator they are to die for.
The stong male Alpha Dragon and clan leader facing the strong headed DDA and trying to figure out what to do with her might sound simple as a story but both Bram's character as much as Evie's are explosive when combined!
Love love loved the book and can't wait for the next book of bram's story to come out.
i really can't wait!!!
Such a great job the narrator did with this story. Bringing Bram and Evie to life was really funny to hear.
I was given a complimentary copy of this audio book and I decided to review it.
This is a book worth listening.

Sneaky Dragon

Jessie Donovan shows her brilliant imagination in Seducing the Dragon. Bram and Evie have a rough road ahead to find their happy ending, but Bram's dragon is the character to keep an eye on. Dragon likes to keep secrets even from Bram. This is a must read if you enjoy fast pace and exciting stories. I could not put it down until I was finished.

Audio ARC review

As a listener that has also read the story I have to say the narrator for book 2 did very well. It was very close to what was in my head (without the accent). The story itself was great, but I felt like there were several different stories happening at once while listening. I had to rewind a few times to make sure I was understanding who exactly was speaking or that I didn't miss something going from one conversation to another. Overall though this world is fascinating to me and I would definitely recommend this book! It left me looking forward to the next book for sure!
