Publisher's summary

In a world so dark and seductive, expect nothing less than a triple-cross in the explosive all-new Ghostwalker novel by number one New York Times best-selling author Christine Feehan....

In an underground club, a high-ranking public official spends his secret nights indulging in fantasies as exciting as they are depraved. For a seductive employee of the Dungeon, it's her job to fulfill them. But she's playing a far more dangerous game - one of blackmail, politics, and murder that reaches into the shadow world of the Ghostwalkers, and the creation of a spectacular, one-of-a-kind new weapon of defense.

But when a dictator makes his own catastrophic moves, the Ghostwalkers have no choice but to bring in two major players - a man and woman both driven by passion and revenge. Both expendable. Both with nothing left to lose.

Great Listen!

What did you love best about Samurai Game?

Catching up on all the original characters, Ry, Sam, Kadan, Gator, etc. Also, like always, Tom Stechschulte is a GREAT narrator!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love all the characters. This is a great series filled with believable characters that you feel like you know.

What about Tom Stechschulte’s performance did you like?

EVERYTHING! He is the best narrator out there. I have purchased audio books just because he is the narrator.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Daniel going to Azami and several of the Azami and Sam moments were very well written.

Any additional comments?

This is a great addition to the Ghostwalker series.

Strong Amazing Heroine

The author revealed bits and pieces of information in a way that kept my interest. Additionally, the tranformation of the female lead was heart breaking, inspiring, and hopeful.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

A sigh of relief, and YESSS!

What does Tom Stechschulte bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Tom Stechschulte use of inflection and pauses makes the listener slow down and enjoy the moment.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes!

Ghost Walkers rule

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, simply because I love this series. I enjoy the macho ghost walker men and the interesting tough woman that are their better halves.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Thorn without a doubt. I wish there was more action around her fight with Whitney.

Have you listened to any of Tom Stechschulte’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Tom takes a little bit getting use to. He is the voice of the ghost walkers and some folks can't get into him. He doesn't do the best job with the voices of the ghost walker woman, but again you get by that knowing he is the voice of the ghost walkers. It buts emotion into the story which makes up for his lack of talent with the women's voices. He is no Holter Graham or Fred Berman. But he brings to the ghost walkers what Jim Frangione brings to the Black Dagger Brotherhood.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Just listening to the telling of Thorn's life under Whitney.

Any additional comments?

I enjoyed the intrigue and that happen at the beginning of the book and wish that tense excited would have been carried through for the remainder of the book. It seem to get a little to mushy in the middle of book. But I still enjoyed the story.

Outstanding as always!!!!

Would you listen to Samurai Game again? Why?

You get so involved in the love affair!!! You can feel and see the whole story as if you were there. I loved it.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Samurai Game?

How they made love for the first time. Very romantic and innocent.

What about Tom Stechschulte’s performance did you like?

The reader was excellent, He knew how to change his voice with the characters and made you feel what was going on in the story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The whole thing was very good. I hated to stop listening when I had to get off the plane. I took it as something to do on the plane when I travelled to Alaska and I did not want anyone to talk to me while I listened.

Another great book

This book had new twists, that I really enjoyed. Since the Heroine is Japanese, the author included beautiful elements from her culture. There was also a lot more focus on the military aspect of the story. Feehan must have someone in the Military advising her to be able to add so much detail. She was able to educate the reader about the Military jargon and operations without awkwardness; well done. This is another credit worthy book and I’m off to the next book in the series.
