The team of Anne Patrick and Leonor A. Woodworth did it again! Ms. Patrick writes another romance novel with Christian values, showing that God still answers prayers in His own way and in His own time. Her characters are real and well rounded, getting the reader involved in their lives. As narrator, Ms. Woodworth does an amazing job, giving the reader all of the emotions of the characters. I look forward to more from both of them.

This is the second book I've listened to by this author and I'm now positive it won't be my last. 😉. Anne Patrick has a wonderful way of balancing an intricate story with just enough Christian values to feel genuine and not forced.
This book is a delightful mix of romance with bits of mystery and suspense. The characters are believable and are not portrayed as perfect yet it shows how everything happens in God's timing. It's a story that is sad, sweet, inspirational, and uplifting.
The narrator does a wonderful job with A.P's books. Her reading truly complimented the story.
Although I would have used a credit for this... I would like to thank the author, narrator, or publisher for providing me this audiobook at no cost in exchange for my unbiased review.

For me this book had it all. Romance, suspense, mystery without swearing and explicit sex scenes. The inclusion of faith was also an element that I liked. Narrator did an outstanding performance. I will definitely be reading more from this author.

I got this ARC via audiobook boom. This was a strong story of love, forgiveness, and hope. Each character displayed Gods love in such a good manner. The love story was told without sex or explicit language but was told very well. The narrator made the story come alive. The suspense was just enough to keep you listening. Worth a credit.

Any additional comments?
Story is more relational than mystery, but still a good story. Good narration.
"Sabotage" was a terrific listen with a super storyline. I loved the protagonist Kate as well as Graham. Kate was in a unique situation with her hubby being away at service and her raising her two sons. The story moved along at a great pace and I was so pleased at how it turned out. I'd recommend this one as an awesome listen by Anne Patrick.
Leonor A. Woodworth's narration was fabulous. She made the story flow. She has a nice, smooth voice and has definitely proven to be one of my fave voice actors. This was very well done.

Judge Katie McKinley takes her responsibilities very seriously. Her husband was killed just weeks before he was scheduled to retire from the military, and she and her twin boys are still grieving. She has also recently lost her father--a one-two punch that has hit her hard. As a judge, she's conscientious and honest, but no judge can serve for long without making enemies. Now one of those enemies is trying to kill her.
Katie's childhood friend, Graham, completely lost his temper when Judge McKinley ruled against him, a ruling that caused him and his mother to lose their family farm. Could he be mad enough about that to want her dead?
This is a wonderful mixture of mystery, suspense, and romance. I'm definitely going to listen again.

Anne Patrick has the right balance of romance and suspense.
Developing the characters of her story quickly she pulls us into the lives of Katie and Graham.
I like that this story brings the reader full circle. An old flame rekindled, lives threatened and all with a happy ending.
Katie, a district court judge follows the law but is filled with compassion. Her decisions are made to the letter of the law even when she doesn't like them. Putting God first is of moral importance to Katie even when she falls in love with Graham.
Leonor A Woolworth has a very soothing voice that is easy to listen to. I appreciate that she tries to distinguish the voices of each character making the story easier to follow.
I will definitely be listening to this story again.

I will begin by stating I love Anne Patrick. I have listened to quite a few of her books, and they always engage me and keep me interested. This one quickly became one of my favorites. I love second chances, and Katie with Graham was perfect. Katie and Graham grew up together, were best friends and were always in love...though never expressing their feelings. Katie dated other people, resulting in a terrible car crash that changed her life. Both Katie and Graham married other people, both of their spouses dying at young ages. When they both came back home, they were forced together, first in court where Katie was the judge, and then sometime later by mutual friends. Graham helped her work through losing her marine husband, loved her twin sons and protected her from the evil that was still lurking around her. The suspense of the whodunnit was definitely worth the listen.
As always, Leonor A Woodworth delivers the most amazing performance. I love her narrations. She can be calming, emotional and crazy all within minutes of each other. I also love that you can tell which character is speaking. Her voices are distinct. This is a must listen!
