Publisher's Summary

Sparks may fly in the bedroom, but fire always brings destruction.

Golden Beach firefighter, Lieutenant Michael Oliver, has everything he wants - a beautiful wife, a job he loves, and a future that finally looks bright after years of darkness. Until one day a surprise from his past shows up, throwing everything he'd finally recovered from back in his face.

Lena Shirakawa married the man of her dreams in an impulsive Vegas wedding. As a free-spirited and highly sought-after travel photographer, being the wife of a firefighter who wants her to settle down isn't easy. Especially when her job takes her all over the world for months at a time.

When Lena's deep-rooted fears take hold, the damage is done and divorce seems the only option. But Michael won't give up, even if it means risking everything to keep her.

Complicated

This was my first book by this author. I got the impression these characters were introduced in previous books. Still, it was a stand alone. Lena and Michael go through a lot of complications. This story has plenty of twists and turns.

Sweetness

Sweet and romantic, this story was everything I could hope for. The chemistry between the main characters was so palpable, I absolutely loved it.

Duet narration can be a tricky thing. Will Watt and Susan Fouche were fantastic. They were able to suck me in and make me feel part of the story. So good!

Holy Hotness

I've only been listening to audiobooks for the past 6 months or so, and a majority of what I listen to are books I've read. Redemption, and its author Kim Loraine are new to me. Now that my Golden Beach cherry has been popped I need to go back and read/listen to all of this amazing author's works. This story was so beautifully written, and one I could not stop listening to. It doesn't hurt that my favorite male narrator, Will M. Watt, read Michael's part to perfection. I never tire of Will's voice. Susan Fouche was amazing as Lena, making me feel every nuance of the character. Within the next few weeks I'll be breaking the bank on purchasing the rest of this series. Now, I will stay lost as I mourn the end of this terrific book.

Love these narrators!

Audiobooks are such a toss-up for me! The narrators make it or break an otherwise amazing book. This book is awesome and the narrators did such a great job! I wasn't annoyed by their voices :)

What a Love Story!

This was also my first introduction to Kim Loraine. It took about six months for me to finally get through my TBR list to get to Redemption and let me tell you, knowing there was six books in the series I knew I wasn't going to be able to stop at one! I'm already on my third Golden Beach Novel!

Redemption introduces us to sexy firefighter Michael and amazing photographer Lena. Sparks fly right away for Michael, yet they are already there for Lena, remembering the one night they spent together in the past. Their chemistry becomes a whirlwind romance and as twist and turns are thrown their way, not only do they need to find their true-selves they also have to decide if their love is worth fighting for! Up until now I'd only ever heard Will Watt with an British accent, well is American accent is just as swoon worthy. Both narrators do an amazing job of bringing the story to life and letting you really feel the emotion. 5 out of 5 roses!

Such a Sweet Romance Series

I've enjoyed this entire series with the recurring characters and overall story arc that holds a bit of mystery. But this is the book I've been waiting for since these two characters were first introduced and the M-bomb was dropped. And their story was wonderful, absolutely honest to the personalities of the MCs. While the book spans a lengthy time period, each moment adds to the story. In audible, it's a true delight thanks to talented narrators and quality production.

I review for the Guilty Indulgence Review Site.
