Publisher's Summary

Beth Cornett is the town good girl, so staying out of the way of the motorcycle club's dangerous members is a no-brainer. Unfortunately, Beth manages to catch the eye of Razer, who has every intention of tempting her despite her misgivings. When her worst fears are realized, Beth is left heartbroken and determined to forget her walk on the wild side. Razer will not change for any woman, not even Beth.

He realizes his mistake too late, however, and she is not about to forgive and forget. It takes a killer intent on targeting Beth to bring her back to him and the Last Riders for protection. Razer may have learned his lesson, but as long as she is at the club, Beth has to play by their rules.

Well now... this was pretty darn good!

Well... I wasn't expecting that. The way this book started... I was so close to hitting the delete button on my Kindle. But I stuck with it and boy I was soooo glad I did. Right around chapter 4ish the book really picks up... but it was after party and Razer F* up big time that the book took off.

I loved the chemistry between Beth and Razor. It was really done well... after Beth move into the clubhouse... Her goody christian behavior is actually such a touching plot point in the end... OMG... I am still crying!! **Tear-drop**

But the all time best ever in the uninverse "break-up" scene still has me reeling... OMG! I was angry, sad, excited, in shock, I think comotose at one moment, and even horrified!!! It was the best, I mean the best ever break-up scene I have ever read/listen too... It was so good... I forgave the beginning of this book...just to get to that scene... AMAZING...

Narration was so-so for me... that turn into just right... Like I said...the beginning is brutal, I just didn't like it at all... and then all of a sudden, the whiney voice of Beth just worked, the gruffness of Razor's voice worked really well...the story all just came together in the end...

So worth a credit or sale... and Yes, I think even a buy... simply because of that break-up scene.

Wow...What a CLUSTER F***

Horrible does not begin to cover how much I hated this book. Talk about the hero being an arrogant D-bag and the heroine a whimpering- skittish being.

Beth, having been raised is a very christian home somehow (really i can't explain it) becomes fascinated with Razer who is a giant ass! The author tried to make us see him as this millitary guy who joined a motorcycle group so that he can belong... Let's not forget this 'motorcycle' group is so quick to call the cops when shit hits the fan??? Unbelievably silly...

The entire book is Beth bending over backwards to fit her life into Razer's world. The only concession Razer makes is to "agree" to break up with Beth should he desire to have sex with some other female BUT he still gets to share his body other ways. Come on now, really???

I can go on and on about this book but the bottom line is...if all you want is eroticism from this book then buy it... but if you are a fan of romance and want a story that will grip your heart and whisk you away to HEA-ville then don't waste you time or credit. Good thing I only paid $2.99 for this listen otherwise i would definitely be returning it!

ABSOLUTELY NO REDEEMING QUALITIES !!

I wasn't sure at first if this book actually deserved any kind of review but after giving some thought to it I realized that if I could save someone the time it takes to return it to Audible after spending precious dollars or credits on it then it was time well spent in writing the review.

This book, in my opinion, has absolutely no redeeming qualities. I have read/listened to many MC books; most of which were raw, gritty, containing group sex, orgies, bad guys, worse guys, club whores, (well, you get the picture), but all had someone, most times, the H/H that had some heart, kindness and concern. The hero, and I use the term loosely, in this book was, simply put, an uncaring, heartless creep. Granted, I must admit, I did not finish the book as I didn't want to spend my time in doing so, but I just couldn't after listening to the 9 1/2 chapters and 4 hours and then going back and reading the reviews of those who did finish. I love a good hardcore MC story, but come on Ms. Begley. I'm not sure what you were trying to portray or say but I just don't get it. I get a "mean to the shy & different girl when she was a teen, vibe", yuck. This author is a definite "no go" any further for me.

PLEASE!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

What disappointed you about Razer's Ride?

Where do I start.... This was an awful book!!!! So bad that I couldn't even finish it!! I love a good MC book... but I felt like I was being punished by listening to it.. I should have been paid to listen rather then pay for it... What a weak story line. Razor is a major dick!!! Why bother.. Really a pastor is going to step a side for a MC to pursue a relationship with his love interest... No Way!!!

What was most disappointing about Jamie Begley’s story?

Poorly written!! I tried... Really tried to finish this... After reading the reviews I tried to hang in there... made it half way and then bailed.. Poorly narrated!!! It was choppy and without feeling....

How did the narrator detract from the book?

It was like a robot narrating the story... Maybe a better narrator would have made it interesting... but the combination of the crap story and the poor narrating was to much.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

Nope!!!! Not a one!!!

Any additional comments?

If you want a great story, listen to Kristen Ashleys "Motorcycle Man" or Madeline Sheehan MC series or even Joanna Wylde... These a great MC Authors!!!!

Razor Is An Asshole...

The kind of asshole that no matter what, I would never be able to forgive. I didn't like him from the start, and it didn't help when he betrayed Beth. But I adored Beth, so I kept listening because she's such a sweet and kind person, who wants to fully experience life.
Bottom line, simple plot line with simple twist, quick read with great sexy times, darling heroin, asshole and terrible "hero". Read at your own risk.

"MC with Damaged People & Loving

If you could sum up Razer's Ride in three words, what would they be?

Sex, Pain, Forgiveness

What was one of the most memorable moments of Razer's Ride?

When Razer and the club view video of what occurred in the church where Beth and Lilly's father was pastor and Razer realized he never put in the time to know Beth. Also Shade's response is revealing

What does Elizabeth Hart bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She has the emotion, the accent and more depth

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Friendship, Family, Love and Pain experienced

Any additional comments?

Can't say I cared a lot for Razer through most of the book. He was a member of the MC, former Navy Seal who is very sexual, with many woman, openly and without any moral or ethical qualms.I do give him credit for being pretty up front about it, but still it was a bit hard to hear, especially once he met Beth. You are introduced to many of the Last Riders, there is secrecy, vengeance and friendships..a feeling of family..but it is a bit hard to understand if you don't believe in sex without some commitment...but only for fun..which is what the Last Riders are about. There is more to this MC than first thought..and then end of the book preps for coming stories...enough to drawn me in, but also know the open multiple partners is going to be a little tough to work through without getting angry at the men and Last Rider women members.I took one star off because of my dislike for Razer...can't say I'm still much of a fan...hopefully that will get better in future books as I want to learn more...Worth a credit...only if you can get past the open multiple partner sex..realize they all have some issues, but all in all are good people. Thinking Shade who is interested in Lilly is an interesting upcoming story.Excellent story with many facets.....

Great book

I enjoyed reading this series and now listening. its got a good story line when u get past some of the more questionable parts of the story such as the sharing of women. once you get to know the characters the storyline will keep you coming back to read more.

I loved everything about this! Story , narration you name it

What was one of the most memorable moments of Razer's Ride?

for me it was when Beth walks into the club house after being in the hospital ... jaw dropping, heart wrenching ....

What does Elizabeth Hart bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

he voice makes it more real .. I loved reading the book but listening to it is a whole new level

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I tried !!! but I guess sleep kinda got in the way

Any additional comments?

Jamie Begley is a mastermind, she turns you inside out ( in a good way) . I wanted to hate Razor and all of the people in the club but at the end of the day I just fell in love with them more..

great listening

I love the last riders, and have the whole series on eBook, this is my first time listening to to an audiobook of a book I love, and it didn't disappoint, the narrative was good, the speaker was clear, and I got thoroughly engrossed in her telling of the story, and I'll certainly try it again

Couldn't finish

This book might be ok for anyone who hasn't listened to better, so you don't know what your missing. Unfortunately I have listened to better so this was just disappointing and I turned it off half way through. Weak story, weak characters and the narration was mediocre.

Loved it!!!!

My first Jamie Begley book and I loved it. Can't wait to read the rest of the series or any Jamie Begley books. I love MC books and this one is up there with the best ones.

Razer is a MC man and it is his life, it always has been and always will be.

Beth is a preachers daughter and had a hard up bringing. She trusts everybody until they treat her wrong. Beth's life is her customers and her sister lily.

This couple should work but just do!!!
I would recommend this book. Bring on the rest of the series.

Love this series

What a Series, I am up to book 5 now and am addicted. All of the books have had parts where I have felt like I have been Kicked in the gut, and heart sick for the characters. While the storey has been uncomfortable at times, it has felt inspiring at the same time. Maybe there could be a little more time on the bikes though.
