Publisher's Summary

Jagger Caldwell is no one's hero. With a reputation for busting heads and breaking hearts on the underground MMA circuit, he lives for easy cash and easier women. But when he stumbles upon an all-too-familiar scene, painful memories awaken Jagger's sensitive side and compel him to act. As a kid, he stood by helplessly as his old man beat his mom. Now, Jagger won't let 17-year-old Tatiana Rand suffer the same fate. Nothing matters except saving her.

Tatiana is a prisoner in her own home, at the mercy of her violent father - until an unlikely savior bursts through her door and into her life. Six-feet-plus of tattooed muscle and raw power, Jagger is no prince charming, but Tatiana stopped believing in fairy tales long ago. Despite their differences in age and, well, everything else, the sexy bad boy sparks a fire that Tatiana never knew she had - and desires that only Jagger can quench.

Jagger Caldwell and Tatiana

Third Caldwell book. All three books overlapping and giving different points of view. Jagger protected Tatiana one night when her father was beating her. She was 17 so there was little he could do but sneak her anonymous gifts. She figures it out and eventually escapes her father. Jagger, wanting to give her choices, keeps his distance but like his brothers when he falls that's it.
A sweet steamy steamy story. The narrator did a great job with the voices and a Russian accent.
Highly recommend all three books and hope this team writes more! I'll buy them. Worth the credit worth the money and time. I will listen to them over and over from time to time.

Too many Caldwell Brothers in too short a time

***I will also note that I have started this review before I listened to it all of it so while I doubt that the rating could earn stars, there's a chance that it could be worse. I hope that I will feel what the other reviewers did by the end*** So maybe my rating for this book is harsh because I listen to all the books one after another. I like the first 2 books much better than this one. While I am used to the usual theme of the virgin to sexpert heroin it seriously bothers me when it's such a sheltered and young character. Not to mention I disliked the use of "good touch" over and over again. I also hate when the male characters all seem to be the same guy in every book of the series. The writers tried to make them unique yet they all have the same reactions to how all three has to point how their women laughing at an awkward time is bad on a man's ego.

Jagger YES

I think Jagger is my fave brother of the three. He is so protective and sexy. Tatiana didn't really work for me, a bit of contradiction. Abused her whole life, barely outside contact, instantly wants the 'good touch' from Jagger? Cobra adds tension to the story. It was good seeing Jagger's brothers and their wives again. Sad for the loss of his trainer, but Jagger gains Kid which I believe we will see more of in the next story. Jared again is officiating the wedding and he is hilarious. Do we get to know his story in the future? I hope so.
A great choice in narrators, I loved every minute listening to this book. Loved Ms, Mitchell's Russian accent and the various voices she gave the other characters. Mr. Arden is on my fave list, his voice is versatile and animated.

Sweet and Endearing

Jagger's story was good...his love for Tatiana is pure from the moment he first saw hwr...same for her. Not really any major twists or real drama which is why I gave it 4 stars in the story category. The narrators did an awesome job as usual.

Great listening!

I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook about a MMA fighter and a poor Russian born girl. The story begins as the hero, Jagger, stops the heroine, Tatiana's, father from continuing to beat her severely. Her father is a monster who treats her like a slave and physically attacks her for anything he thinks she does wrong. Though they moved to America when she was a baby, she hasn't ever left the apartment where they live. Jagger becomes a bit obsessed with her and worries about her father continuing to abuse her. One night after the worst beating her father ever gave her, she comes to and sees her father snoring asleep and decides to escape before he kills her. Going into the rest of the story would give too many spoilers, but there is a HEA and no cliffhangers. The narration was just perfect and Maxine Mitchell has to be the best female narrator ever. Her performance with the slight Russian accent was flawless and so believable! Joe Arden was the best voice for Jagger too.

in love with the series

I did love the stories but I disliked how repetitive all the stories were. There was nothing really orginal about the individual stories, abused woman, hot brother, day saved THE END. I did enjoy the series but I don't know if it's because of the double author thing that some parts sounded like repeated parts from the book before it.
