Publisher's Summary

Vivacious interior designer Amanda Billings is plagued by nightmares but determined to press on as if her ex-boyfriend hadn't turned her world completely upside down.

Ad man Mick Thompson believes Amanda is the one to make him forget the fiancée who dumped him and prompted his move to Kansas City from Napa Valley.

As Amanda begins to transform his depressing life right along with his sterile apartment, Mick is ready to jump on the relationship road with her, only to find out that the past is tagging along.

Interiors by Design contrasts manipulation and selfish obsession with true love and sacrifice. It is a story of two people's struggle to escape past mistakes and move forward to make a new life together.

Oh, and there's cats.

Hang on to the end!

What made the experience of listening to Interiors by Design the most enjoyable?

Bowersox read her own story, and she did a fabulous time. She did better than many "professional" narrators I'd listened to. I would listen to another book by her.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Interiors by Design?

When Mick finally quits being an idiot. I almost stopped listening because I was so mad at him. But I'm glad I kept listening because I would have stopped just before he found his brains--and his heart.

What about Jodi Bowersox’s performance did you like?

The characterizations were excellent, and it was fun to hear the author's interpretation of the story.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No, but I yelled a few times about it to my husband. :D

Any additional comments?

This book drove me nuts! Bowersox wrote totally engaging characters. When one of them does something stupid--and like real people, they do stupid things--I wanted to stop reading. But those dang characters had me wrapped around their little fingers, and I had to keep on to find out what happened next. Very satisfying ending. I'm really glad I hung in there.

Complex, clean romance!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. It's an interesting story and I thought the author did a good job with the narration.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that it was more complex than I thought it would be. There are obstacles for Mick and Amanda to each overcome and it helped them understand their feelings better.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Mick and Amanda finally got to really talk after he came back from California.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Not necessarily, but I enjoyed it overall.

Any additional comments?

Because I was listening, there were times when I wasn't sure if his name was Mick or Nick so that could have been made a little more clear (it's Mick, by the way).

Great intense mystery romance (and it's clean)

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I enjoyed the heroine's perspective. Finding a clean romance on audible is difficult! Very pleased. The author dealt with some pretty deep and intense subjects with a deft hand.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Mick-his loyalty and love was great. He never have up.

What aspect of Jodi Bowersox’s performance would you have changed?

Her reading was a little slow- I sped it up and enjoyed it more

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The birth was poignant - but that's a spoiler
