Can Andie recover from her trauma? Will Cade find out who's behind his troubles?

To protect those he loves, Cade is forced to play dirty with one exception: on the playing field. Meanwhile, Andie is drawn deeper into the manipulations of a coworker who doesn't have her best interests at heart.

Andie's mother appears on the scene to help while Cade's mother suffers a horrible relapse. A shocking twist upends everything Cade believed and forces Andie to reconsider whether she'd been too trusting of the man who'd wormed his way into her heart.

Intriguing!

The storyline of this well written and narrated book just keeps getting better. It is filled with emotional twists and turns. These characters have encountered so much treachery yet keep their faith in each other and know together they will come out on top. I have purchased the whole series in ebook format, because I don't deal with cliffhangers well. Up until the end of this book I had managed not to peak ahead, but alas I have to admit to opening the ebook up and going to the last page, the tension is high at the end of part 4 and I just couldn't take not knowing if they get a HEA! I happily know the ending destination of this journey now I can sit back and take in all the fine details of the trip this fantastic storyteller has taken us on.

Intercepted by Love - Part 4

This story is book 4 in a 6 book series.

Andie and Cade are faced with more twists and turns that threaten their relationship. Just how much can one couple face before it all falls apart?

Rachelle Ayala is a master storyteller and she has chosen the perfect narrator to bring these stories to life. I can't wait for the next book in the series!

So many twists I'm getting dizzy.

Wow, lots of action going on in this fourth instalment of the series. I'm beginning to despise some of the characters even more than before, but love Cade even more. I can't wait to see what happens next. I highly recommend to adult audience. I voluntarily reviewed this audio book after receiving an advanced copy.

Now that takes planning!

Each part of this story shows more and more of the planning that has gone into it. I feel sorry for the characters, they can't catch a break, but it does impress me with the planning and organization necessary to pull it off.

The story is trilling ot listen to because something is always happening. If you're like me, when you reach the end, you'll desperately want the next part.

The narration is just as good as the first three parts, the character voices are consistent with the earlier parts and the delivery is a good match for the book.

I received a free copy of this book from the author and/or narrator and/or publisher in exchange for an honest review.

Leaves you wanting to know!

This one left a huge cliffhanger! I couldn't believe it was over, I was not ready for it! There is so much packed into this installment. Cade's mother plays an important role in this book, her past and things that are happening now all culminate into a firestorm. Cade is up against so many things, Andie's accident and her memory loss, his relationship with his teammates, his contract with the team, the baby that could be his or might not be, his friendship with Ronaldo, and Roxie and her part in all of what is happening. Andie is trying to come to terms with her memory loss, her attempt at getting Declan to sign the divorce papers, how she feels about Cade, where her future is going and should she go home to her dad. The bright spot in all of this is baby Brett..he is bright and beautiful and it's so easy to fall in love with this cutie. Love all the action, the suspense of what is going on and cannot wait to find out how it all ties together in the end! This series is so much fun!

Chris Abell continues his fantastic narration. I am so glad he has been consistent through tis series, he has come to be these characters for me and I just love his performance.

Amazing Series to Listen To

This part of the series is the most intense so far, and so shocking that I'm really hoping that things start getting better for Andy and Cade. Chris Abell does a stunning performance that drew me into the story, and kept me enthralled until the very end. Please note that this is part of a series, and should be listened to in order, and does end on a cliffhanger. Now, I can't wait for Part 5, and hope that things work out. I know that Chris will continue to do an amazing job as the narrator.

Ready for the next in series!

Intercepted by Love Book: The Quarterback's Heart, Book 4 by Rachelle Ayala, narrated by Chris Abell is yet another fantastic addition to the series surrounding the relationship of Cade and Andie. In case you haven't read my other reviews, you will want to make sure you start with Book 1 in this series....but buy them ALL, or you are going to drive yourself crazy thinking about what happens next, as they all end on cliffhangers. Like most people (just making an assumption), I do not generally prefer books that end on cliffhangers. However, the more books I read/listen to with them, the more I realize that Rachelle Ayala is an amazing author. It actually takes serious skill to build your reader up to a point of excitement before knowing the best, precise moment to leave them...hanging helpless and begging for more!! Not all writers can do this. There have been some other books with cliffhangers that I have read/listened to that left me begging for nothing at all! Instead, they left me totally confused, wondering what the heck just happened, and caused me to go through the last chapter again to figure it out. Those books had me questioning if it was supposed to be a cliffhanger or if it was just a bad ending. Because of books like those, I have grown to appreciate Ayala's talent as an author, even more than I did before. Not once has her writing left me confused, and every single book in this series has left me "not-so-patiently" waiting the next in series to come out on audio. If Ayala's goal was to keep her readers/listeners thinking about the charaters and what comes next, she has succeeded 100%! I never thought I'd be that person who thinks about fictional characters from a book randomly throughout my day, but I was wrong! Not only do I think about the main characters, but I've also caught myself thinking about the others introduced as the series continued, AND I have found myself contemplating what I would do or would have done in that situation! Rachelle Ayala, what are you doing to me? :-)

Chris Abell's performance, again, shines in Book #4. He has narrated all the books in this series, and I think he does an excellent job! I usually enjoy hearing female narrators more so than males, but in this case, no way! Chris Abell IS the story, the characters, and the voice I wait to hear. Although I'm pretty sure reading these books would be great, I definitely feel that listening to the audiobooks has made my experience that much better. Thank you, Mr. Abell!

Like the rest in series, this audiobook snatches up a well-deserved 5/5 stars, across the board! Oddly enough, I have actually grown to enjoy (or perhaps a better word would be appreciate) these cliffhangers much more than I EVER thought I would. :-) Rachelle Ayala and Chris Abell are a great audiobook team, and I highly recommend this entire series. I say with great confidence that you will not be disappointed!

Thank you so much for reading my review. I hope it was helpful. :-)

The twists and turns are amazing!

Any additional comments?

I received a free copy in exchange for my honest review. This is the 4th Installment of Intercepted by Love. In this book, we find out how Andie is after her car accident and how Cade deals with all that's going on in his life and how it affects Andie. There are so many obstacles in their journey to HEA that I wonder if they'll ever make it. If they do, I think they will be a strong couple. I can't wait to hear the next installment of this book. Each one keeps getting better. Rachelle Ayala really knows how to keep the interest going and Chris Abell does another wonderful job of narrating.

Heart-wrenching and Passionate

What made the experience of listening to Intercepted by Love the most enjoyable?

The incredible characters in this story made this listening experience very enjoyable and memorable. Walking this hard yet rewarding journey with them made my heart dance with happiness. This is one of my favorite series from this author, and I love every minute of it!

What other book might you compare Intercepted by Love to and why?

I would compare this book to a Nicole Snow novel. Both are absolutely riveting and chock full of pure heart and raw passion. There is nothing like a good romantic suspense to truly understand how much depth a character can have and a storyline can become.

What about Chris Abell’s performance did you like?

I enjoyed how Chris Abell put his heart into portraying each character in this wonderful story. He was true to the core of each and made the story so much richer and fuller as a result. He made the experience so beautiful that it will always stay with me in my thoughts.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The last scene ripped my heart in two where Cade pushes Andi away to save her knowing he has nothing left to give and can't keep her safe while Andi finally understands just how she feels about Cade despite everything and simply can't lose him.

Any additional comments?

If you love sports romances and romance suspense, then this series is one that you are sure to find fun and intriguing.

What a muddle!!

First of all, this is part 4 of a multi-part book. if you haven't heard/read the first three parts, please do so. They are all necessary to understand subsequent parts.

That said, Andy and Kade's story gets more twisted and complex with each book. The simplest detail of this story is that they love each other. Beyond that the reader cannot help but feel the universe is conspiring against them!

Filled with complex family relationships, attempted murder, potentially fake Hollywood opportunities, car accidents, memory loss, a premature but not so premature baby, an ex but not so ex-husband, King David and his love life, and so much more, the tapestry of this story is a fascinating profusion and confusion of textures and colours. And, like all the other parts, Rachelle Ayala leaves us hanging with a hankering for the next part. Poor Kade and Andy! I really hope they can find their HEA.

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.
