beside the reader mispronouncing some words, this is a very good read. I would recommend it to others to read. Christine is a very good writer

This was done right!

Kaleo Griffith is a great narrator for this series. I enjoyed listening to this book, and can say I will listen to any story narrated by Kaleo - it was a job well done.

The best narrator so far

I’ve read the entire dark series many years ago. I am now re-reading them via audible and Kaleo Griffith is the best narrrator so far. I wish they kept him for the more recent books. He really brought all the characters to life.

Loved the humor

I loved the humor in this book and the different dialog between character than the other books because these characters grew up on their own without realizing there were others of their kind. Great story, no cliff hangers, happy ending.

Awesome book!

I have read this series and dark fire was the first book I read by Christen Feehan. And that's how my love of this series began
Now I am listening to this series because it's just that good. I recommend this series to anyone who will listen. I also enjoy this narrative. He ads good tones and the women don't sound like weak twits thru his reading. Love the emotions he gives each character. Worth a credit or cash. Happy listening!!!!

Going up in flames! Sexy salvation just in time.

Trigger warning! Some scenes triggered me, so proceed with caution of you have triggers to abuse and sexual assault in a story. I enjoyed this book not just for the steamy sexy scenes, but because it is essentially a book of hope and healing. Tempest, a young woman who was neglected, alone, and abused overcame her circumstances and with the love and help of a caring woman, built a mediocre life. Darius is older than dirt, domineering, and set in his ways. He is autocratic and she defies him at every turn. Tempest (Rusty to her friends) needs a family, and Darius' troope of traveling musicians is just what she needs. She brings guidance for a fellow abuse victim, and proves that life may never be the same, but it can still be good. Kaleo Griffith did an adiquate job narrating this story.

Simply Awesome

The whole story was ten times better hearing it from an awesome narrator. Simply beautiful!

Great story, okay narration

The narrator did an adequate job of reading the story, but the mispronunciation of Gregori was distracting. I still enjoyed the story, thank you Christine :-)
