Publisher's Summary

Ellis Garrett is dumping her critical boyfriend, opening a plus-size clothing store, and starting a blog-all to spread the word that fashion shouldn't require a size-two body and that happiness should allow for the occasional cupcake. Or two. But is indulging fantasies about her sister's long-ago ex, the still-hunky Michael Edwards, biting off more than she can chew?

Mike must be losing his detective's touch. He doesn't recognize Ellis when he bumps into her at Size Me Up, and he certainly doesn't remember his ex-girlfriend's outspoken sister being so irresistible. Her curves are indeed dangerous-and so is her wit. Could it be that Ellis is his Perfect Fit? One thing's for sure: Mike will make it his sworn duty to find out . . .

Loved the idea but that's about it

The book leaves me feeling annoyed with the main character. The blog posts were a nice touch but the post themselves were boring.

The real killer was the narrator on this one. The Irish accent made me cringe. It sounded really awkward when she tried to read as male characters.

Wanted to stop, but was like a train wreck

Would you ever listen to anything by Sugar Jamison again?

I probably wouldn't listen to another audiobook by this author. The main character was too hard on herself even though she tried to play it off as being comfortable with herself. Can't have it both ways.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Irish accent was awful! At times it sounded more "island" than Irish. At times it was difficult to tell who was supposed to be speaking. One minute it was Ellis, the next it was Mike, still sounding like Ellis.

Very realistic in terms of how relationships go

The female protagonist was very insecure and she was winning more that I liked. I do appreciate the author trying to relate a story that can actually happen in real life, but I struggled to finish the story. I also did not like the narrators voice at all.

Loved the story, but...

What did you like best about Dangerous Curves Ahead? What did you like least?

I loved this book. The author did a great job of character development and I loved Ellis's sassiness and that Mike wouldn't let her succumb to her own insecurities.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Robin Eller?

ANYONE!!! She narrated WAY to fast and her clipped manner did nothing to enhance the story.
