Publisher's summary

He stole her lipstick...and her heart.

Twenty-year-old Dani Walker can't believe her luck when she's paired up with the gorgeous Liam Garrett as her Acting I scene partner - or when he ends up in her bed. Being a Plain Jane with a mouth on her hasn't exactly served Dani well in the guy department. In fact, she's had nothing but one night stands. Still, she lets go of her insecurities and falls for Liam, despite feeling like he's holding something back.

When Dani finally discovers Liam's secret, she must learn the true meaning of accepting the ones we love for who they are, or risk losing the best thing that's ever happened to her.

Unusually Beautiful Love Story

It is hard to write a good review on this book without giving out spoilers on this story.

Dani is not your typical skinny gorgeous girl that sweeps a guy off his feet. She has never had a long term relationship, only one night stands. She is funny, smart, beautiful but has a low self esteem.

Liam has been in one long term relationship. He is thoughtful, sweet, and really good looking. But he does have a secret he is trying to hide.

To be honest, I was taken aback when his secret was revealed. I totally did not see it coming. There is a strong message about love and acceptance. It was well written and the narrator did a great job.

I don't read much from this genre but I'm so glad I took a chance.

Great story up until the last few chapters

Any additional comments?
I can't help but think this story could have and should have ended sooner than it did.

The narrator was awesome! I've never listened to any of her novels but she was able to capture the essence of Dani and all of that college-age youth. Well done. (I didn't even mind the cussing.)

The story was a simple boy-meets-girl-boy-loses-girl set on a college campus. The girl in question, Dani, was a wonderful mix of humor and humility and just enough self-deprecation that it never got into the "woe is me" camp. She was perfect,

Dani and Liam's relationship took the usual twists and turns, all good, and the reveal was well-done. In my opinion though, the story should have ended when they went back to school after winter break.

I know why the altercation happened (bridging the story lines) but I thought it was too obvious and not really needed. Still, right up to that point, this was a very good listen.

WARNING THERE ARE SPOLIERS IN THIS REVIEW!!!!

This was a good book. At first I never seen it coming. Until the eyeliner and lipstick at the club lol. I'm like hmm why is Liam wearing that again? But I like the fact that Dani liked him for who he was and he loved her even if she wasn't skinny.

But there are some cross dressers out here that one think they are Gay. But mostly are Gay. You will hardly see any that aren't. But it's good she doesn't judge him. Cant say so much for his mom. She should've loved him for who he was like his sister and dad did. Smh that mom of his and Ariana really sucked.

Glad I got around to reading this book it was worth the read. Can't wait to read the other two books soon.

Any additional comments?

Overall, I really enjoyed this book.
I think that the storyline of the book was a very unique and interesting plot. It gained my attention right from the beginning and made me want to keep listening.
I believe that the narrator of this audiobook was the perfect match for the storyline and aided in the descriptions and characteristics of the characters.

Fabulous Read!!!

I loved loved loved this book. It was so funny and so well written. One of the best books I've read in a while. The narrator was great.

The only thing that might give one pause for concern is the subject matter. Which is quite easy to determine from the description ,but if you let that dissuade you from buying this book your are missing out on a gem.

I received this book from the publisher or author free of charge for an honest un biased review.
