Publisher's Summary

Sam ran his hands along her spine, pulling her closer to his torso. Her hips arched against him.

"Bobbie, I swear I'd never hurt you, never raise a hand to you. Trust me."

Trust him. She'd couldn't remember ever truly trusting a man before. But she'd never felt this kind of yearning before, either, this magic connection between herself and a man. She couldn't say the words, couldn't commit to total trust. But she was committed to total lust.

Sam awakened a burning desire within her, a longing that ached right down to her core. Instead of talking, she simply....

I like strong woman in books

Any additional comments?

The story has great potential, I really did enjoy the storyline even if at times it did have some adolescent parts. The narrator Lissa did a great job, at time it did come across more like story telling than performing to bring the story to life. In saying that, the book was written that way so Lissa did great, she has a beautiful voice and I think someone to look out for in the future.I was provided this audiobook through Audiobook Boom at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review.

Another good quick listen

I got this book via audiobook boom. This was a funny, quirky story that made me listen until the end. the narration was good and moved the story along. The story could have been flushed out little more but it still made sense. enjoyed it.

Great Short Story

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. I thought this book was a great short story. Something I could listen to in between the long stories. Simone Carter did a great job with the story line. The story between Bobby and Sam was very sweet. It was quite cute. The author did a great job with the characters in this book and the narrator was very good in portraying each of the characters. It was very easy to imagine them. Will look for more of Simone Carter's books. It was very light reading.

Sweet Sexy Man and Distrustful Woman

I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator.

A short story but complete to make me like the main characters. Sometimes the relationship building and obstacles are overdone. Also sometimes I want a quick story
Bobby hew up with an abusive father and her sister married an abusive man so Bobby is
leery of men. She begins a new job and she and her boss are attracted to each other. Sam is unlike her assumption about men.
I enjoyed the narrator. Good job on female and male characters.
I did rolled my eyes with lines of smelling Sams testosterone.. some juvenile lines, but not many. Enjoyable. I had no problem finishing it.

Sparks fly

When Bobby meets Sam she's after one thing... a job. But when the interview happens without her knowing it in a broken elevator, they do not get off on the right foot. Talk about tension.

The story is mostly fun, sexy and interesting, but there are some parts that deal with domestic violence from Bobby's sisters prior marriage and Bobby's parents marriage, these scenes are confronting (as they should be) but they add a lot to the story.

I really enjoyed listening to the story and I'd listen to it again.

This book was supplied free by the author/narrator/publisher and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.

Reality Fairy-Tale

I love the mix of reality and fairy-tale in this story. It reminded me of the sweet innocence of childhood and the harsh truths of being an adult all at once. Bobby and Sam's story is one I will definitely listen to again. I love how Lissa showed the many different emotions of this story and how she make it just have more (umph?) to it.

Interesting take

The story opens telling of an abusive relationship. And throughout the story it is the factor that keeps driving the main characters. The story is good the characters for the most part believable. I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

Great story and a quick listen

What did you love best about Bobby and the Billionaire?

I enjoyed the story. The characters were likable, and it was a good plot line

What other book might you compare Bobby and the Billionaire to and why?

I can't really pin point one, but I can say it does compare to other office romance genre books.

Which character – as performed by Lissa Blackwell – was your favorite?

Sam. I actually enjoyed his character and the way she performed him, was slightly less fast paced when his character was speaking. It slowed down the quickness of the story some.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I liked how Bobby was strong but also unsure, though the things she got angry about seemed a little blown out of proportion to me.

Any additional comments?

This is a full story, but it is a quick one. I feel like it could have been fleshed out a little more and longer. There was enough story to slow down the pace a little and make it seem less rushed in a way. Over all I enjoyed it, it is a full story, I wasn't left feeling like pieces were missing, I would have enjoyed it slightly more if the were just expanded on. If you lack the time to dedicate to longer audiobooks this is a great book to get. I obtained this copy for free from audiobook boom for my unbiased review.

Great Short Story.

Bobby and Sam's journey touches on a subject of abuse, so this may not be for everyone.

This is a great listen and was a well developed story despite it being on the short side.

Lissa Blackwell did a great job narrating.
