Amazing Book. Worth listening to.

I could not stop listening from beginning to end. The story is dark, but at the same time beautiful and erotic. Life is not all flowers. The realistic writing of ugly and beautiful, pleasure and pain, human nature in it's good and bad. Wish there were more books like this. And the performers did a great job of portraying characters. Some books, not many but some deserve a special rating of 10 stars. This one certainly does.

A tortured love affair

A different romance from the usual story. A billionaire meets a beautiful woman in Australia. Enjoyable romp.

Just what I needed

Couldn’t put this book away. Even though I knew what could happen, I was on the edge of my seat. When I was forced to back away by life, it was easy to follow right from where I left off.

Loved it

I thought this book was going to be another 50 shades spinoff. But I was pleasantly surprised. I was charming and romantic. I enjoyed every minute of it and will be reading the other book in the series.

Definite Pain

There was definite pain between the characters and I loved the way the narrators were able to depict those emotions through their voices.

Love hidden in a adventure

I really enjoyed this story even though the male narration needs to work on his female voices. Once you get past the bad voice choices for his female characters, I really gotten into the story. The female narrator did a fine job.

American southern fall for Aussie bloke

loved this book it keep my interest tell the end. the aussie ascents where pretty good for American voice overs the southern belle accent not to great. Who wouldn't want to go to Australia and meet a nice looking bloke for 3 month and have all your fantasies fulfilled. It would be hard not to fall in love with the aussie bloke even if that wasn't what he wanted.

Guy reader was horrible

Loved the story, loved the female reader, but the guy sounded like the “dry eyes” commercial, so monotonous. Other than that what a breath of fresh air to read about a sane (well semi sane) rich guy who isn’t controlling and a psychopath.

Great Story, Narration? Not so much.

Narration? Um... I keep thinking of a Transvestite almost every time I hear Laurelyn's voice and every time I hear Jack's mom's voice. It's really annoying. The Jack narration is really good, I wish the female part was just as good. It's really hard to be drawn in to the story because of the bad female narration. This would be much better reading it than listening to it. I loved the story, I just felt like it should have been longer. The "scenes" in the book were short and then it would move on.

This was a great find! Love it.

I've had this book in my library for a while now. I wish I had listened to it earlier. It's really a great book. The narration is excellent. OMG! It kept my attention from the first and now I can't wait to listen to the second. I also got the rest of this author's audible books. That's just how good the first one was. Just get it if you like a great romance book!
