Aaron is missing.
Malachi, Aaron’s brother, is growing frantic with worry. His brother is enjoying rumspringa, but he’s never forgotten to come home. With their parents already passed away, Aaron is the only family Malachi has left and he’s desperate to find him.
Sophie is the detective on this case. Coming from an Amish background herself, she is able to be sensitive to their beliefs and values. What she doesn’t want Malachi to know is that there have been other Amish abductions in other states and this is following the same pattern.
As the investigation continues, Sophie is sure that someone in the Amish community is working with the abductors. But who is it? Can she find him in time and will Malachi get his brother back before it is too late?
