Amazing story!

This is one of the most amazing and faith building stories that came out of WW2. I listen or read it once a year. If you are having trouble being content, thankful, or forgiving, listen to this book! It will give you new perspective!

The Hiding Place a Must Read

The story told in the hiding Place has been hidden too long among the genre of religion, Corrie artfully be tells the story of imprisionment and redemption for those part of World War II nazism's cruel detention. She artfully takes the reader through her journey of horror and desolation to a place of peace. Through this book she continues to fulfill the mission of sister Betsy. Hard to put down this book that marks the reader's soul forever.

Moving

I remembered hearing this story as a child so decided to get an audible version. Such a moving true story of a difficult time.

A story of God’s love through hard times

This book was very meaningful to me, and I grew to know Jesus a lot better. I felt moved with every turn of the book. It held my attention, thoughts, and emotions, through whatever trial or miracle was being expressed. The writing was incredible, and the testimony overpowering, and I hope you will enjoy this marvelous story during word war 2!

I loved this!

This is a beautiful story that both broke my heart and encouraged it. Corrie Ten Boom went through so much and still held firm to her faith. I loved this book and recommend it to anyone wanting an encouraging and love filled read that also tells of the events of WW2. There is so much life spoken in this book despite its dark surroundings.

Powerful witness

A classic I’d never read but exceeded expectations. The witness of love in the midst of horror is inspiring. Her own pursuit of holy love call me to love wholeheartedly.

This will be a book I read again and again. It teaches the beautiful truth of the power of the Savior’s atonement. It shows us how the Saviors love and the power of his atonement can be used in any situation.
