Painful to listen too

This book may be an adequate guide to Hinduism however I was unable to finish it due to the narrators inability to pronounce many of the key words including some of the gods, places in India and key words such as Sadhus. For me, his slowing down and struggling over multiple words really affected the flow and after an hour of trying had to abandon this book. V poor show audible.

This is a well-researched book

Any additional comments?

This is a well-researched book that the author has written with much passion. The author writes in a clear easy to read style. However, there are too many ideas and facts in this book for me to give an adequate review. I feel that this is a worthwhile book because Hinduism is a major religion that most of us know little about.

Excellent.

Like learning about Hinduism. Simple explanations and gives a lot of detail though. It delves into how Hinduism was brought to the West, and how Hinduism views other religions. The historical and cultural connections to Zoroastrianism were fascinating.
