I love this new series!

I was so excited about this spin off series and it did not disappoint! Della is one of my favorite characters, so having books that revolve around her is awesome. I love all the familiar characters and the new ones introduced. I can't wait for the next one! another great performance by Katie Schorr! Bravo!

just as good as the first series

loved it. Della is so feisty and one of my fav characters. Feel so bad for her and just wanting the acceptance of her dad. Now we find out he has skeletons in his closet. Maybe that's why he is so hard on her. Now on to the next book

A new perspective and delightful listen

CC Hunter takes her brilliant Shadow Falls series and focuses this time on Della, the vampire. After listening to the others and Katie's excellent narration of them, this followed int he same great path. The character of Della comes shining through and is so consistent with the past stories that it is easy to slip into her tale. She is abrasive and sometimes rude, yet her prickliness doesn't prevent one from liking her. A very enjoyable book!

This book was great! I really enjoyed it, even though the first series was better!

Loved it.

I haven't read any of these in a while. I decided that the only way I would was doing it with Audible. I definitely enjoyed it. I laughed a lot. I cried a bit too.

Captivated

Again I fell in love with Shadow falls. Love these books. Writing and performance were on key. Although I expected no less.

Downloading the next in the series now.

I am not about giving away plot twists in reviews. The more intrigue a story can bring to my mind, which is usually jumping three steps ahead, the better. Suffice it to say when I downloaded this title I was very uncertain if I’d want to be returning it within the first chapter. Unknowing depth unfolded from the somewhat brief plot blurb I had read. I was not struck by any of the lingering unhappiness that sometimes comes of a vague plot. This storyline was very well thought out, and I encourage those of you who are skeptical to just do it. As I am going to with book two! ;-)

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

OH MY GOSH! I loved the original "Shadow Falls" series from Kylie's POV, but I'm loving hearing a different perspective, Della specifically. She was always was perhaps a bit more relatable to me (I'm a little bit sarcastic at times).

Who was your favorite character and why?

Della, obviously. I loved her in Shadow Falls, love her more now.

Which character – as performed by Katie Schorr – was your favorite?

I'm gonna have to say Kylie or Holiday for this one. Katie is EPIC, but I think she does the nice and gentile characters better.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

LAUGH! These series (Shadow Falls AND Shadow Falls: After Dark) are so amazingly written and just what I need from a book I want to fall in love with.
