Amazing Story and Outstanding Narration!

Wow! Parker S. Huntington did it again. She's a very talented writer, one of my very favorite authors. All of her books are like a gift: Open it, Read it, Loved it, Repeat. This story has it all! This is a very beautiful enemies-to-lovers, second-chance mafia romance novella, where the past and the present collide. I love the story of Ranieri Andretti and Carina Gallo. Their chemistry is strong and their love is forever. The ending is so beautiful! You can read/listen this story as a standalone, but believe me, you don't want to miss one book in this amazing Series.

Jeremy York and Desireé Ketchum did an outstanding narration. They both have a beautiful voice, well paced. I love their voices together, and this duet is really well done. Jeremy York is already one of my favorite narrators. This was my first listen to Desireé Ketchum's voice, and OMG! I love her voice! She's now on my list of favorite narrators. This is a great team author/narrators. Her words / their voices: This is perfection to me! I highly recommend it!

Ranieri Stole My Heart From The Beginning

Ranieri Andretti, head of the Andretti family, is back and Carina can't stay away. After their friendship ended life was miserable for Carina and watching Ranieri sit back and do nothing about it hurt her even more.

So first off, this is a freaking novella. A short, action packed, whirlwind.. but a novella none the less. It was too short for me, I needed more. It was so good I didn't want it to end. I am impressed with how much happened during the book with the length of it but it was a great novella. One of the best I've read thus far!

This book being a duet was incredible, I love the way it brought the story to life and really made it feel real. This by far has been one of the best audiobook experiences I've had. Sorry I can't stop gushing over it. Let's just say it's a must read!

Love a good 2nd chance story

Love is like Pop Rocks...great 2nd chance romance...a mafia style Romeo and Juliet. Best friends turned enemies because of deceit. I really detested Ranieri at the beginning of this story...how could he destroy 9 years of friendship and be so cruel? Then as the story progressed, I realized that something didn't add up, and maybe he wasn't such a bad guy. By the end of the book, I was swooning...and cheering for the guy! This is a quick story but packs a whole lot of punch...kind of like Pop Rocks! You'll get the reference when you read the book...and, trust me, you really should! The author toyed with my emotions, but I'll deal because I got an HEA! The narration team did an excellent job pulling me into the characters. Not being a fan of the mafia genre, I was glad that I gave this story a shot.

I LOVE THIS STORY!

These series are so so good! This audio, just as the book does not disappoint.
Raini and Carina were best friends and you can still feel the love they have for each other even if they've been ears without not seeing each other. This is a second chance story, an excellent one.

The narrators are so so good, the chemistry they have somehow make you feel everything the characters are going through! The angst, sadness, uff even the sexy parts.
They are great together, I don't think anyone but them could have narrated it as well as they did.

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narrator was great.

Great story!!!

Omg! I cannot believe this is my first dual narrative audio book. It was amazing.
I love Mafia reads and this one did not disappoint me.
The friends to lovers made it even better.
Ranieri and Carina’s story had me hooked. Friends since they where kids, they where so sweet together, even though they where so different and for some unfortunate circumstances, they stopped talking. Carina never found out anything about Ranieri but she always wonder.
Years later, Ranieri pops up again and the chemistry and pull between this two hasn’t end after all those

Secrets, lies and deceptions make this story even more interesting. When everything comes to light, will Carina give Ranieri a second chance. He deserves it in my book!!

Great novella

I am loving Parker Huntington's books. She's a new author to me and I love the way she writes and how she brings her stories to life.

This is a second chance Mafia novella. And who doesn't love a good story that will have you on the edge of your seat with a hot guy going after the girl that got a way when he was a teen. This was a quick sexy read.

I listened to the audio of this book. I thought Desiree did an amazing job. But I will be honest I really wasn't a fan of Jeremy for the male narrator for this book.

I can't wait to read or listen to more of Huntington's books.

Because of the reviews I read I decided too purchase this book (usually will not if it is less than 7hrs) and I totally agree that it is the best one in the series yet 🤩

Better Than the Second Book

After my not-so-great review on the second book in this series, I am happy to say that I truly enjoyed the story of Corinna and Ranieri. First of all, it was nice to hear Rani’s point of view with the war with his brother. I thought the love story between Corinna and Rani was sweet. I always love stories of childhood friends falling in love with each other. This story had some sad moments, especially when they were ripped apart when they were young, but it has a happy ending.

I loved the duet style of this audiobook. Jeremy and Desiree did such a great job performing the voices of Corrina and Rani.

Fantastic story with a ton of sex appeal!!

The pleasure of reading and listening is all about going somewhere else… somewhere that isn’t my life, my story. I love the chance to go somewhere else in my mind and Parker Huntington takes me to a visit with the mafia. I don’t know what that makes me when I’m completely fascinated by visiting the mafia. It’s just so outside of my realm of life. Ranieri and Carina have had such a tumultuous relationship. They used to be best friends but something happened. This story dissects what happened. I devoured it. I wanted to listen to this audiobook faster than the narrators could tell it to me.

Jeremy York and Desireé Ketchum were fabulous as Rani and Carina. So, I’m a huge fan of romances and thrillers on audio and I’ve never heard Miss Ketchum narrate before. I love her voice! I thought she brought this full-on sexiness to the story. Her voice… I just loved it! Really, I don’t know what I can say about Jeremy York that hasn’t been said previously. However, I can say that mixing his voice with Ketchum’s and the talent they both brought to the table made me want this audiobook never to end! Those 3 hours went way too fast!!
