While there were many good suggestions and recommendations in this book, some of them were a bit extreme. If you were try to implement them you would spend most of each day focused on nothing but taking supplements etc. I don’t believe there was enough emphasis placed on the role of physical activity.

I got a lot of very useful information from this book. Unfortunately, I feel as if the author is out of touch with the reality of most people's lives. The target audience for this book are housewives married to bankers or lawyers, who have loads of free time and money and can carry out her advice. Eating only organic food alone costs a fortune, not to mention the price and inconvenience involved in changing all the cookware in your house. On the good side she does provide a great deal of useful nutritional information, and explains in detail why certain foods are good for you, or bad for you.

In short, just take every supplement you can find in the pharmacy and then some, because some of them can only be found on line, also taking care of the right ratios to one another. Also make sure to consume only fresh, natural, pesticide free organic foods (if you have the money). And of course don’t forget your sleep, your exercise and don’t smoke or drink alcohol, well except organic, pesticide free wine, go find which are which. Also get rid of your WiFi and enclose your phone in a faraday cage. Also consult only biological dentists (?) and health care practitioners that are compliant with her litany of advice. This just a sample of what you find in the book. A good portion of it is generally available information you can easily Google, the rest simply does not make much sense at all.

Love the fact that all aspects of health for aging gracefully and more healthy are addressed. I can choose for myself which ones to implement. It is radical and a lot of people will have to pick one or two items at a time to implement. I have read her Radical Metabolism book also and am a disciple of Dr Wallach so am not new to nutrition and fasting. This book goes beyond nutrition and I love it. Thank you Ann for all the modern research in one encyclopedia.

Seems to cover all the bases with an in-depth questionnaire that leaves no stone unturned. I do accept the premise that these hazards are items of concern and should fall under the principal of calculated risk. Avoid inflammatory industrial seed oils and processed high carbohydrates foods. Dump the whole grains and all types of sugar. It is your health and you are responsible for what you choose. Fast one day a week and use time restricted eating widows on the rest of the week.
