If I could give 6 stars, I would

I LOVE this series! It is an awesome Vampire Reverse Harem series with plenty of steam, plenty of suspense and plenty or intrigue. The characters and exploring their powers has been a wild ride. New characters are always being added and the story is constantly evolving. The writing is wonderful and have been me sucked in from the very start.

Narration is FAN-TA-STIC! Cassandra makes an amazing vampire queen! She has such a unique voice that is perfect and so enjoyable to listen to. Tristan is amazing as well. They make an amazing duo and have enhanced an already amazing story and added a whole new depth to enjoy.

Great great read for any PNR lover~

Why 2????

Why oh why did you let 2 people do the voices? At first I was like hey a male and female. One for each gender. Then as it went on they both do the voices for the characters 😞. As soon as he'd get used to one voice it switches to another. Not good and I love these books. My husband doesn't read we listen to books together. How can we enjoy this when it's quite annoying? Don't know if I will purchase the others if they continue with this double voices 😞 We feel Cassandra Myles should finish this series by herself or with each person doing a separate gender. Hey she can do the males and him the females even just not both doing all!!

Ehhhh.

I am actually really sad about this one. I’m super big into RH and this was recommended as an RH staple. Maybe not as big as some others... but definitely seemed popular. Man. I struggled. I kind of feel like this might be because of the narrators chosen though. I really really struggled with both narrators, but more so with the male. I guess the male just sounded... too wispy... and older. It was personal preference. I’m sure others love him. I also struggled with the story. I’m big into audio - and I usually need at least the narrators or the story to hold its own. But... the story didn’t hold up. I didn’t find myself unable to stop listening. It was easy for me to turn off and by the end... I just wanted it to be over. :(. I may try the second book in kindle down the road. Or maybe I will pick up Book 2 in Audible at some point too. But for now... it will go on hold.

Just Short of Good!!

***SPOILER ALERT***
I abhor books like this. The main heroine is drawn into a paranormal world that she is clueless to which isn't the problem. The problem is she is so quick to accept what she is told by two absolute strangers that is mind boggling. Within the first couple of hours of meeting them, she accepts their stories w/out confirmation and has sex with both of them while Drinking their blood even though she hates being touched and she is a virgin. She lacks resolve and conviction. Also, the two men have a sexual relationship with eachother. This in itself isn't a problem but I would think a targeted virgin would need time to internalize this before going to bed with them . Sexuality is a complex thing. This threw the entire story off for me even though the writer is good enough and the surrounding story is actually decent.

The beginning of something great!

The first book in what is easily one of my favorite paranormal reverse harem romance series!! It has a great storyline, wonderfully written characters and some of the hottest sex scenes I've read!! I just can't get enough!!

Pleasantly surprised by this series and audiobook!

I had heard a lot of good things about this series and thought I would try it out on audio since I have had more time getting through books that way with all my traveling for work. I was super happy I did! I loved this series, its very addicting and I couldn't wait to get back in my car and wasn't too upset to be stuck in extra holiday traffic so I could listen more to Shara and her Blood.

I loved the storyline, from seeing Shara grow and develop feelings for her men and also seeing her start the journey into being a vampire Queen. I liked that she was reluctant with stuff that RiK and Daire suggested, which is how anyone who was raised in the human world would react. Loved that her blood opens them up to their powers and that they can shift into different things. I loved the steam and looooove that Rik and Daire have a relationship (my guilty pleasure is definitely M/M anything haha). I started on Book 2 on audio already, I also bought Book 3 because I knew I would be in this for the long haul haha.

In terms of the narration, I thought both Tristan and Cassandra did a good job. They weren't my favorite narrators, I think sometimes it was tough to tell the difference between Rik and Daire, and sometimes Cassandra's tone didn't match the sentiment of the phrase, but overall I would definitely listen to them again. I already have listened to some of Book 2 and they definitely improve in that one (so many new voices to hear them do!).

Overall, great series on audio, will be definitely be listening to the rest while on vacation. I will say they are DEFINITELY not suitable to listen to at work hahaha. My face kept getting red with the steamy scenes (since they do increase in volume in Book 2) and it was too much to try and explain it to my coworkers without giving away what made my face red haha.

Welcome to House Isador

This is the start of a Reverse Harem Vampire Romance.

I love the RH genre but HATE THE LACK OF M/M INTERACTION. This series doesn't have that problem :)

We are introduced to Shara, she has been on her own for a few years and constantly on the run. She knows she is different but not that she is a vampire.

The author presents a different take on the vampire dynamic(didn't think that was possible these days). There is a lot of blood and sex, usually together.

I absolutely love this series!

good

I think that this story is really interesting and different.. I know that this is basically an erotica, but I love the plot itself and the twists.. I actually liked the characters as well. Shara and Alric are good, but Dare is just so yummy. I love him. ;) oh, and I also totally love Tristan James. his voice is a yes xD

Original story

I really enjoyed this storyline. It has an original take on vampires, demons, characters, and plot. This is shaping up to be an awesome adventure. Can’t wait to get to the next book in the series. Interesting story, would have preferred a view from Dare as well. I pictured a much more gruff sounding voice for our male MC. It’s always a challenge finding actual voices to compare with the ones in your head 😉
