What do you do when you're faced with a big decision? If you're like most people, you probably make a pro and con list, spend a lot of time obsessing about decisions that didn't work out, get caught in analysis paralysis, endlessly seek other people's opinions to find just that little bit of extra information that might make you sure, and finally go with your gut.

How do some startups go from zero to billions in mere months? How did Alexander the Great, YouTube tycoon Michelle Phan, and Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon climb to the top in less time than it takes most of us to get a promotion? What do high-growth businesses, world-class heart surgeons, and underdog marketers do in common to beat the norm? One way or another, they do it like computer hackers. They employ what psychologists call "lateral thinking: rethinking convention and breaking "rules" that aren't rules.

Featured Article: 5 Truly Wild Pro Wrestling Memoirs
When people discuss wrestling, one thing that always seems to come up is whether or not it's "real." The WWF (now the WWE) became incredibly popular in the 1980s, and its breakout stars were seemingly everywhere. Whether or not you believe wrestling is staged, there is no denying that it is incredibly physical, challenging entertainment. Pro wrestling draws millions of fans to the stands every year, and the wrestlers themselves are in amazing physical shape, performing wild stunts and risking injury night after night.

ONE BIG INFOMERCIAL (And I love it!)
I have watched the online videos that Diamond Dallas Page has and of course, the Arthur video that I never ever get tired of seeing, but I really didn't know much about DDP himself. The book has many success stories of both wrestlers and everyday people and the background on DDP. I wasn't a huge wrestling fan (and you don't have to be either to enjoy his story), but had definitely heard of him and most of the wrestlers that he has worked with. Loved hearing stories about Dusty Rhodes and some of the others in here, but genuinely found myself really interested in the whole story of DDP and how he went from a football player and hockey player to having to switch to basketball because of an injury and then working so hard that he played in college. You can tell that he does everything 90% (read and you will understand) and there isn't much that could stop him from going where he wants to go.
I love how passionate DDP is about his program and especially about helping people. He even emailed people who bought his program and wasn't just interested in making the money, but was genuinely interested in helping them. I am sold on him and his program and just started it this week. I don't need to lose hundreds of pounds, but just turned 50 and could lose 25-30 pounds to feel better and definitely could reap the benefits of both yoga and additional exercise. My wife is doing this with me as well and we completed the Diamond Dozen which goes over most of the positions that will be used and we were both not only impressed, but also could feel the workout in our arms and legs and this wasn't even a workout, just a 20 minute video on learning the positions. I can't wait to see where I am after a few months of doing this.

Own It!!! Work for It!
Are you looking for the motivation to change your life? Get in better shape or get more out of life? DDP tells how he made it to success in life in several different careers. He uses several other peoples transformation using his system to help motivate you.
It is basic principles to change your life but most of us need help getting started and a good plan to make it happen. This is a good road map to get there but you have to put in the work to make it happen. Basically ‘Own It’
The narrator is a little annoying at first but it didn’t take long to get used to his voice and embrace it.
I am into my second time through the book and am trying to implement some of the simple principles immediately.
The last few chapters are a synopsis of DDPY program and what is offered in the DVD’s or the app. I plan on purchasing those in the near future. I am ready to make a life change and get out of the same routine that hasn’t led me anywhere special. Enjoy the book, take it to heart, and implement it and anything is possible.

This could be a great, but DDP doesn't narrate it.
I am greatly enjoying the book, so I wanted to listen to the audiobook as well. Unfortunately, DDP only voices the introduction. The rest of the book is narrated by others and they are horrible. It's like fingernails on a chalkboard. I'll be asking Audible/Amazon for a refund.
It pains me to give this a negative rating as a fan of DDP going back to his WCW days, but this audiobook doesn't cut it.

Loved it! very Inspiring
this book would have been great for someone that is not a wrestling fan, but it was amazing for me as a life long fan. I grew up watching the guys he talked about in the book and knew some of the stories about them already, but it was cool to hear more of the stories.
I have struggled with my weight for most of my adult life. I was an athlete in high school and then let myself fall to shit. I am 5' 10" and at my biggest I was up to about 343 lbs (which was about 5-6 months ago). i finally had a wake up call this past December when my sugar levels were for the 1st time in prediabetic levels. I was having some surgery on my hand in Jan and the doctors told me I had to have a special appointment with the anesthesiologist due to my bmi... This was a kick in the nuts, but one I needed. it finally made me get serious about making life changes.
Early in January I changed my diet and eating habits completely. I didnt add in exercise at first because I wanted to lose some of the weight and get used to the new eating habits first. I had been debating DDPY for a long time as I had heard Jericho talk about it on his podcast and from several other things on the internet. My joints hurt from carrying so much weight for so long, so I knew I needed something low impact. I finally signed up a few days ago and have just begun the workouts, but wanted to listen to this book as well, and I am so glad I did. It really helped to get me energized and excited about what I was doing and about my journey. "Dont think it, Ink it" really hit home and I wrote down my goal, I will be at 220 lbs by Dec 31st. I'm already well on my way as I just broke the 300 lb barrier this weekend and I cannot wait to take back over my life!
When DDP was talking to one of his customers and referenced the fact that "Everytime you sit down to eat a plate of unhealthy food that you know is killing you, you are basically telling those you love - Fuck you, this food is more important to me than you" (paraphrased), I about cried, because I knew that I had been in that position over and over for the last several years. my family is my world and I had been neglecting them by neglecting myself!
I am thankful to have found the program as my wife, and my step daughter (both of whom are also overweight) have decided they liked what they saw me doing and really wanted to try it as well. It truly may have chamged saved several lives.

Buy It, Live It, Own It!
I've been listening to several audiobooks lately and the newest is Positively Unstoppable: The Art of Owning It by Diamond Dallas Page. I recently interviewed Dallas, and he was a pleasure to speak with. I've been eagerly anticipating his book for a while now, and I devoured it in record time. As expected, it's excellent. From the foreword by Mick Foley to the fitness and nutritional recommendations, Positively Unstoppable is jam-packed with useful information that will educate and inspire you to live your best life.
This audiobook features several narrators but Joe Barrett is the one who handles the bulk of the narration. At first, I found his voice to be grating and melodramatic but eventually I got past that and was able to focus on the content of the book itself. I enjoyed Dallas narrating the introduction and I wish he had done the entire book. However, as he says, he chose to have a professional narrator tackle this one.
Positively Unstoppable is great for people like myself who are DDPY devotees, as well as those who know nothing about Diamond Dallas Page and his health and wellness program. By reading - or listening - to this book, you'll learn more about Dallas and yourself. It will give you a new perspective on what you eat, how you exercise, and, most importantly, how you can own your life. It's one of the best books I've ever read and my favorite book of the year so far. Buy it, live it, own it!

Make your life your own.
Great insight into DDP's life and how he overcame so many obstacles and helped so many along the way to healing! It helped me appreciate his story and realize that change is not an event but a progression. He was in an accident in his teens, taught himself to read, was in the bar scene... had a dream then went to become a wrestler in his 30's- broke his back then came back and was a world champion then went on to start a business and the challenges that go along with that- and wow, the people who he's inspired. My takeaway: You never stop growing and learning from obstacles, it's your choice to keep moving forward X numbers of years from now you will wish you had started at this moment. Thanks DDP!:)

Wonderful book
A really inspiring book. Very good content with a sense of humour!
I would have loved it if DDP himself had narrated it … but I understand that his dyslexia would make this difficult
Would thoroughly recommend this book

A great book!
I loved this book. I was a little deflated when I realised it wasn't narrated by DDP himself but I got over that once I got into it. I really enjoyed the different chapters of the people that joined the DDPY movement. It was really interesting to hear their stories and inspirations. It has certainly made me think twice about the food I eat... in a good way.
Very inspirational. I would recommend!!

Inspirational Story
I really enjoyed this book. I grew up watching wrestling so this is a no brainer for any wrestling fan. listening to DDP's journey was inspirational.
If you are not a wrestling fan you will still get some fantastic advice from the author.
The best part for me was DDP not starting his professional wrestling journey until he was 35! Most professional sports personnel are retiring by this age and he was only starting and he still reached the top. Age is just a number.

Simply put, BRILLIANTLY INSPIRATIONAL!
I struggle quite badly with mental health issues, I get lost in the fog and even though I start 100% Committed I lose focus and hope pretty easily. Without fail, this book, Diamond Dallas Page himself (and the rest of his cohorts lol) always bring me round...
If no one has told you already today DDP, THANKYOU!
Well read, easy to listen to (even for me lol) and definately recommended... 5☆

Nearly 6hr infomercial for DDP yoga.
Some good stories although hardly elaborated. Mostly trying to sell ddp yoga. A bit of a let down considering how remarkable a man he is and how interesting his life is. As far as narration goes, it was a miss. I kept waiting for a "that's how it is, see" sounding more like an old American gangster more fitting for Al Capone than Diamond Dallas page.

Are you above average? Is your child an A student? Is your employee an introvert or an extrovert? Every day we are measured against the yardstick of averages, judged according to how close we come to it or how far we deviate from it. The assumption that metrics comparing us to an average—like GPAs, personality test results, and performance review ratings—reveal something meaningful about our potential is so ingrained in our consciousness that we don't even question it. That assumption, says Harvard's Todd Rose, is spectacularly—and scientifically—wrong.
