I loved it!
I love Mary Monroe’s stories and this one kept me wanting to see what happens next! The story was such a true depiction of the dumb decisions people made in those times. I truly enjoyed it, and can’t wait to start the next book in this series!

HOOKED!!!!
This booked had me Hooked from the beginning! There is so much drama, lies, deceit, twist and turns! Bay-Be! Get ready for a roller coaster ride! No spoilers, but we're talking about a secret family, bootleggers, blackmail, shady friends, and sneaky two-timing husband! WHEW
I Didn't realize it was a series until I got to the end of this book I had to "clutch my pearls", and hop on book 2 ASAP!!!!!!
