The Weird Circle, featuring tales of terror and horror, aired from 1943-1947, mainly on the Mutual radio network. This episode was originally broadcast on October 3, 1943.
This was kind of an odd story and the sound quality was fairly poor. To top that off, I don't really like dramatizations much anyway and the segues in this one were really "off."
This sounds more like an episode of Dragnet, (remember that?), than anything written by Wilkie Collins. The cast sound like they are all completely bananas and the production is a mess, but it has a certain strange charm and I can't complain about the price.
I suspect this is more terrible than cult classic but I'm just putting this out there in case anybody disagrees!
