Not up to the standard of Dick Francis

I'm sorry to say that this book did not hold up to my expectations of Dick and Felix Francis novels. The storyline was very clumsy and the characters lacking in the sophistication I've come to expect from Dick Francis. I found it tedious from start to finish.

Intrigue and twists galore

I loved the inside scoop on the world of auctioneers intertwined with greed and unscrupulous money grabbing.

As good as his dad! An excellent story and I love the narrator. Very glad the writing tradition continues.

Typical Felic branches in a good way

It really is a typical Felix Francis book but I liked it a lot. I always like the stories about horse racing steeplechase things over in Britain. No big surprises. Good narrator. Well written.
