Totally kept my attention. The protagonist was a good person. I truly enjoy reading books that feature people I’d like to emulate.

I love it - great mystery and outstanding reader

There is a lot of very close observations and analysis involved for the hero to ultimately unravel a rather insidious and diabolical plot in the horse racing world, a plot to disable by sickness Perative horses. Frances keeps finding ingenious corners of the horse racing culture in England as his setting, and this story is layered with the language of computer attack as well. It's filled with intrigue and it's filled with the usual acute observation of human behavior and motives that is so great in Francis. Preble is one of the best, the very best, readers of books in the world, I think And his performance here is up to his usual stellar standard.
