One of the very best, if not the best for Felix Francis! Really enjoyed the suspense and also the insights into life in Russia /Moscow. Thanks for a great story.

Another excellent DF tale. 1984-type Russia

Simple intelligence gathering with who-to-trust dynamics in Russia. Fantastic exploration of Russian society. Another clever, low key and durable horsey protagonist. Misses full marks for mis-representing chemicals and physiology (can’t be more specific) to further the plot. Few people will notice.
Will our hero be attacked twice as in ALL other DF books? It’s worth finding out.

Fun story and great narrator

Definitely fun to listen to and interesting story set in the old Soviet Union era.
Narrator definitely added to the fun of listening to the book.

A good yarn & an excellent reader

I thought I had read all the Dick Francis books years ago when they were in book form. This was a new one to me. Horses are just background on this one but that’s okay. It was an interesting story - and the reader is excellent.
