Publisher's Summary

A modern visionary and one of the newest authors to come from America, Dr. Melissa Caudle combines a suspenseful thriller and the search for truth in regard to past lives and reincarnation in this mind-bending novel in the tradition of This Body: A Novel of Reincarnation by Laurel Doud, Journey of Souls by Michael Newton, and Past Lives, Many Masters by Brian L. Weiss. The result is a masterful original fiction novel as profound as it is awe inspiring.

Never Stop Running is a pause-resisting thriller that begs to be listened to in a single sitting as this mental time travel spanning centuries and numerous past lives through regression hypnotherapy unfolds. Based on a true story of one woman's struggle to recover her memories after a devastating accident left her with retrograde amnesia. This is an astonishing novel from an unforgettable author and is a must-listen.

What happens when the unthinkable occurs? What would you do if your loved one all of sudden woke up and didn't know who you were or for that matter who your family was either?

For David and Jackie Hennessey, they had the perfect white picket fence life, marriage, family, and careers until the unthinkable happened - an accident that left Jackie with no memory. The couple struggled to find the balance between what they once shared and their new life. After David discovered Dr. Grayson, a well-known regression hypnotherapist, he convinced Jackie to seek his services in order to retrieve her subconscious memories. During her sessions, her memories surfaced only to uncover her past lives which crisscross centuries in her mental time travel.

Faced with a moral dilemma of believing the dreams were once a reality and twisting her religious convictions on reincarnation, Jackie questioned her sanity and feared for her life after seeing her deaths in her previous lives. She believed she could never stop running as her marriage degrades and falls apart. Based on real events of regression hypnotic sessions of one brave woman, this is a tale of destiny and soul mates not to be missed. The most intriguing book you'll listen to all year. You don't have to believe in reincarnation to enjoy this tale, but it will get you to thinking about the possibility.

Meh, Its alright

I'm not sure if the story was really good or just shoulder shrugworthy. Because of its monotone narrator it was hard to tell. I think a better performance would have made it, if nothing else, gripping but numerous times I had to rewind just to figure out which character she was portraying. I am pretty easy to please most of the time, however this story was really cliche (minor reveal possible spoiler to follow) with Elizabeth 1 and Egypt. Why authors need to name drop in past life stories bugs me and kinda ruins it for me. Also some past life facts are wrong... that was disappointing. Being these were minor portions of the story the rest was pretty fun with some nice flips and some pretty tough and emotional turbulence dancing around the characters.

Unrealistic (spoilers)

I'm about 3/4 through this book and I keep trying to make excuses for how unrealistic it is. The main characters are so self absorbed its disgusting. The only decent character is the mother/grandmother. Their interactions are gross and mean. I really hope the ending redeems the rest of the book but I don't have much hope. Not to mention there is so much death.
Just finished it - the book ends at chapter 19 but there are 3 following chapters that are ads for the authors additional books.
The ending was terrible and it left me heartbroken for the fate of the main characters children. None of the characters learned any lessons and the kids lives were ruined.

Dont waste your time with this book

This book seriously discredits hypnotherapy and the entire point of past lives research & knowledge.

The author obliviously has no idea what happens in hypnosis of any kind.

No knowledge of the medical profession either or that bartenders don't let their customers get deadly drunk and then send them to drive home in their own vehicles.

Nice Twists and Turns

Really liked the plot of the story. Wished the ending and ended a little different. They should have added more to the ending.

Rubbish

Between the nauseating husband with his corny romance and childish attitude towards, well everything. The mother in law who they definitely stole from a Disney movie and the weak and boring story I gave up when yet another corny pass life was being recalled. How come no one ever recalls being a postman or a office worker lol.. Always something extraordinary, the loin tamer just finished my listening as the.. The show must go on cliehe lines began. Bought this because of good reviews, well that was a mistake. The dull, mono voice reading this would make anyone want to find something sharp and end it all. Complete rubbish

Narrator!

Such a shame.. Read the reviews listened to the sample.. Thought I can cope with a droll voice.. I was mistaken.. This narrator is one of the worse Ive heard on here As well there being no difference in character voices, she doesnt seem to understand punctuation or pauses.. Just drones on with the same monotone voice.. Been having this a lot lately and I have to say it seems quite prevalent with American narrators... perhaps it was this but I simply couldnt get into the book which I found "bitty " will be getting a refund for this one sadly... I was so looking forward to it to

Monotonous narration doesn’t help a poor storyline

With a thin storyline not at all gripping and certainly not a psychological thriller it really didn’t help with a monotonous narration.
I thought I would give it the benefit of the doubt and see it through even though I wanted to stop after 10 minutes but really, I wish I’d stopped after 10 minutes. I found the narration irritating and monotonous and really didn’t help the storyline whatsoever. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone
