Adele Abbott has written another great addition to the Witch PI series. The stories are original and the characters are likable and quirky. Hannah Platts is spot on and brings the characters to life. I highly recommend this book and the entire series.

I’ve just discovered this series and love it! Its a great fun escape as I drive endless hours transporting my teenagers to and from school, friends houses and sports. Nothing too controversial or sexy. Hannah Platts does a great narration!
Just discovered this series a few weeks ago and so far I'm enjoying it. Kind of Hermione Granger crossed with a Harry Dresdenish feel. Some great characters that you really start to care about. Looking forward to seeing where it goes from here.
I love this series, the ending wasn't as good as the other but I am still moving on to the next book in the series, there are lots of interesting happenings for sure!!
Would you listen to Witch Is When Everything Went Crazy again? Why?
I've listened to it twice now. It's such an easy, feel good series. They never fail to brighten my day
What was one of the most memorable moments of Witch Is When Everything Went Crazy?
I love Jills obsession with custard creams
Which character – as performed by Hannah Platts – was your favorite?
They're all great (except Kathy, what a jerk) but Jack and Jill are adorable
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I wouldn't say an extreme reaction, it made me happy. It's a very cute series
Any additional comments?
More, please!
This series is adorable. A cozy mystery with whimsy and humor. It has me wanting to adopt a one eyed cat cause winky steals the scene every time. Let's not forget Jack. 😉 Although, Cathy sometimes leaves me in need of an anger bag to swing at. lol Jill is far more patient than i
I love this series!! I am really enjoying it, as well as Hannah Platts!! Her English accent is mesmerizing. It makes the story so much better. I can't wait until she narrates more in the series (I hope they are planning on it!!!
This is a wonderfully entertaining story that is delightful to read. I enjoyed the first book so well that I download the complete series before I finished the finished the book. The books end with a cliffhanger, usually with a startling revelation or socially awkward situations.
The story is driven by Jill’s discovery that her biology family is witches. So, she has a learning curve and all the comedic situations that a beginner witch can encounter when learning magic in secret, being pursued by the diabolical nemeses of the story, and trying to work as a detective. After solving the mystery in the first book, demand for her services increases and her time becomes determined by others.
Jill has two separate lives, her paranormal life as a witch, which must be kept secret from non-paranormals. The story always has one central mystery, which Jill may or may not get paid for and other peripheral things that are happening to her inner circle. Her mysteries in her human world put her is a situation where she must work with Detective Maxwell. Their relationship begins as contentious. Winky, the one-eyed cat, is the most delightful character. While at the office there is dissension with the cat and her secretary Ms. V. The main mystery is in the human world. The little peripheral mysteries are solved with the aha epiphany. There is no profanity or sex to disrupt and a light, funny story.
Action between the magic and human world is tried together with Jill unintendedly using her magic in her human life. Yes, the conversation is snarky, and there are a few characters whose primary purpose is to whine. I read the complete series in three days and through enjoyed them.
This was a good story in the series prefering it to the previous book. In this book Jill is rushed off her feet again. She has a hit and run and a missing holiday fund to investigate,a love sick cat, a hen do, and her dead mums wedding. Her life is definitely interesting, I found it was quite a nice easy read. Think the investigating part could have flowed a bit better as at times it seemed a bit jumpy but was a good read that I would recommend
I really enjoyed reading this book. I can not wait to read the next one.
I am loving this series. Jill's family are crazy. Trying to keep her two families apart is getting harder.
The mystery stories run along side these antics. Plus her intended love life that doesn't happen.
The twins are hilarious.
Can dead people marry? Will the crime be solved? What magic will Jill learn next? All great stuff.
Winkie the cat and Granny's naughtiness is getting better as the characters develop. The PI crime stories are kind of on the back burner her crazy family take the lime light
