Above average but Brett has done better
This isn't one of the best Quinn stories but it isn't the worst either, it was better than average just not great. It feels abridged. There is very little about the characters which is what attracted me to the series to begin with. If you haven’t read/listened to the earlier books you won’t get the references to the character’s personality or past and this novel adds nothing new to the characters. They go through the motions, get the job done.

I Love this series! So good.
I love this series. All the characters are amazing. The stories, dialogue, intrigue, mystery, action and great writing is so exciting all the time.
These books are really good and I totally recommend them.
The narration is amazing absolutely amazing. I love Scott Brick. He does such a good job on all the voices especially the female voices.

SO INTRIGUING ~ SO CAPTIVATING!
Bravo Brett Battles! It takes talent to write a series that never wavers from the best! I've enjoyed each and every book in this series! Scott Brick is officially at the top of my list of favorite narrators. I never grew tired of his voice. I would highly recommend this series to everyone. I sincerely hope Book 9 comes SOON!!!

It's Jonathan Quinn, what's not to like?
I'm sorry the story is over, but I'm looking forward to hearing Book 9. In the meantime, I'll have to satisfy myself with listening to the series from the beginning.
Scott Brick is awesome as usual. If he's narrating, then I'm going to listen. He's that good!
