Publisher's Summary

Bottom-feeders beware: the Sunshine State's favorite psychotic killer and lovable Floridaphile, Serge Storms, has found a new calling, legal eagle, and he's going to make a killing as a crusading attorney - and star as a dashing lawyer on the big screen - in this madcap escapade from insanely funny New York Times best-selling author Tim Dorsey.

When it comes to swimming with the sharks, there is no bigger kahuna than Serge Storms. Bingeing on a marathon of legal movies set in Florida, Serge finds his vocation: the law. Never mind law school or that degree; Serge becomes a freelance fixer - wildcat paralegal and pilgrim to the hallowed places where legal classics of the big screen such as Body Heat, Cool Hand Luke, and Absence of Malice were filmed practically in his own backyard.

One of Serge's old flames, young lawyer Brook Campanella, is also a rising star thanks to her expertise in the field of foreclosure law. Ruthless at taking down the greedy banksters kicking people out of their homes, she lands a major class-action lawsuit and looks set to win big. The opposition is determined to shut her down, and they'll go to extreme lengths to do it.

Luckily for her, Serge likes nothing better than saving a damsel in distress, especially when it means kicking a bunch of shyster butt. The mayhem comes to a hilarious head at the Key West courthouse at the height of the island's raucous Fantasy Fest street carnival, and no one, including Serge, will ever be the same.

Dorsey does it again!

Loved narration! So many characters-each wonderfully done. Love Serge and his Florida adventures. Only the evil die.

OMG!!! How sick am I?

I just cannot get enough if Serge's method of justice! You will never be a participant inSerge's idea of a reality TV episode if you are not a genuine, bonafide JERK! Stay nice or Serge will find you.

Another great sorryi from Tim Dorsey!

I'm not quite sure of Tim Dorsey is a genius, or a lunatic!

There is one thing I am sure of...

He is the most entertaining author I've come across in a very long time. :)

Nice story

The story starts off a little jumbled with characters that aren’t very important. As the story progresses it hooks you in. I enjoyed this tale, and Oliver Wyman did a fantastic job narrating it.

Good until the end

Not bad as it took you through twists and turns that were clever, but the ending was predictable and poorly executed. Also, the use of character speech to paint the picture of the story was gradeschool level writing at best - “ good thing we saw that guy fall or else we wouldn’t have been able to get this thing that moves the storyline along“– So ridiculous

One of His Best!

Where does Shark Skin Suite rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Second to Pirate Hunters!. Two different genres, but equally entertaining.

Have you listened to any of Oliver Wyman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, but he is animated and a joy to hear.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A South Florida adventure!

over the edge funny. .many memories

Oliver brings each character to life in a way that stage or screen could never do. i think that the next book was a little better but this was a great introduction to Olivers interpretation. maybe i just had a few to many memories of South Florida, the keys and key west brought back to life 👅
