Fun farcical fishing fiction!

Carl Hassen does not write great novels; he writes excellent funny thrillers. George Wilson is the perfect narrator to act out a Hassen novel.

Double Whammy is about the huge business of big mouth bass fishing tournaments. There is a lot of creative cheating going on, but the cheaters do not always win. It is a good break from the serious thrillers I usually read.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of George Wilson?

When you can hear the narrator swallowing and taking a breathe then someone isn't doing their job. The smacking of the narrator lips and swallowing was so distracting i almost stopped listening. George Wilson did a good job otherwise.

Keeps you guessing

The story and characters are entertaining. The narrator was good.
My only issue is the end of the book. It's abrupt in my opinion.

Never disappointed by a Carl Hiaasen book

Love the characters and the story line, just as I do with all of Carl's books. George Wilson is the only narrator for these stories. He brings "Skink" to life every time.

My story and humor.

Absolutely loved the book. The humor mixed with mystery is just my style. The narraters we wonderful. I would listen to them and the author again. Thank you for offering DOUBLE WHAMMY
