Where does Le diable sur les épaules (Martial de la Boissière 1) rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Very entertaining story supported by a great performance! Many turns and twists keep the story interesting (if not always in unexpected ways). The writting is bit in the style of the Arsene Lupin serie, but with a little less exgeration, and the study of the small occitane village after WWI is a little remiscent of a Maigret novel. I regret however that the author feels that the more gore the better. The performance is really exceptional, but i expect the accents might be hard to understand for non native speakers.
