Publisher's Summary

Can you imagine a new chemical compound, a nonaddictive designer drug that heightens your assertiveness, opens the door to your primal self, giving you an edge wherever you compete, whether on the street or the football field, in a classroom or a boardroom? Wouldn’t you be tempted to try it...just once? What happens if it releases uncontrollable rage and makes you a killer?

Critic Reviews

"Wilson skillfully juggles subplots whose unpredictable collisions and complications further accelerate the relentless momentum of Jack’s labors.... A satisfying open-ended climax sets the stage for yet another chapter in Jack’s compelling saga." (Publishers Weekly on All the Rage)

Jack In Top Form

Really enjoyed this listen. Great story, plenty of action and this narrator is growing on me. I initially liked the narrator of the three prequels better.

Another good Repairman Jack story

While not my favorite Repairman Jack novel, I feel that it was still well worth a listen. Jack is still portrayed as a larger than life hero, however this time deals with a less outlandish subject matter. While I was not as satisfied with the overall concept, it was still a gripping story. Christopher Price, once again, does a wonderful job with narrating this adventure, and has me ready to start the next story.

Racoci again

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes it killed a trip to Nevada

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

No
Same story different characters

What didn’t you like about Christopher Price’s performance?

he has no pitch
he is not Dick Hill or Scott Brick
his Womans voice sounds like my Grand Pa with a cold

Was All the Rage worth the listening time?

Yes

Another good Jack novel, same from this narrator

After starting with the pre-repairman Jack series with Alexander Cendese, Christopher Price will just never get 5 stars. He's good, but not Cendese good (impressively versatile). His Gia drives me nuts. It seems always annoyed and almost like a bad stage whisper. But as always, Wilson's writing is fast-paced, relatable (even in the most absurd of circumstances) and very interesting.

Sproingins! Jack's at it again

If you could sum up All the Rage in three words, what would they be?

The Road King - This scene in the book is possibly one of the most hilarious and in state pieces I've ever read. While always enjoyable, the Repairman books tend to follow a certain flow, a predictable one. Then there's this scene...

Who was your favorite character and why?

Abe, Jack's friend. Price does such an amazing voice for him; very believable, and funny.

What about Christopher Price’s performance did you like?

His range of voice alteration is impressive. None of the characters sounded alike.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The Road King scene, as mentioned above. At the same time side splitting funny, and brutally real.

Any additional comments?

I can see Wilson planting seeds for an expanding plot come the future, events now that have their own terrible implication, which will become all the darker in books to come... Just as events prior to this are tied into the story. I wonder if Sal Roma likes castles and keeps?

Excellent Listen

What was one of the most memorable moments of All the Rage?

When jack seen the shark man!

Have you listened to any of Christopher Price’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No i have not so i have nothing to compare it to. He did a good job though.

Any additional comments?

I listened to #11 and #12 before the first since they were the first on audio. I am very partial to Dick Hill. I have listened to all of this series that is on audio and they are Excellent!! Cant wait for the rest...hurry up and get them on here!
