Publisher's summary

Some victories come at a high price.

For Kyle Fasano that price is a headlong fall into hell, a place he never really believed in. Now a living soul trapped in a land of death and terror, he desperately seeks escape, but he's about to learn that the worst place of all can be the hell that lives inside us.

Some defeats are met with shock and defiance.

For the Gray Man, the loss of his charge is more than he can take. In a million-to-one leap of faith, he goes after Kyle to try to save him, knowing full well that, as an agent of heaven, the effort is most likely suicidal. Napoleon Villa volunteers to help, and they descend into the depths to discover horrors that neither of them could have imagined.

Some wars are fought with sheer determination.

Back in the real world, Tamara Fasano and her children are hunted by demons determined to make her husband pay for his victory, while Napoleon's partner, Detective Evan Parker, is drawn into the hunt for a psychopathic serial killer who is terrorizing the small town of Beaury, California.

Great Story

This trilogy I found by accident on Audible Plus. Great story, plot and narrator. You will not be disappointed.

Not Over Yet

The narrator is good the story just seems to drag on and on. Not a bad story just sick of trilogies or series that never seem to end. If book 3 doesn’t complete the story I simply will not finish.

Now it’s on

Only gave the first book 4 stars, that may have been a bit unfair as the characters were getting developed and introduced. The second book starts tying things together and I can’t wait to start the third book. The narrator is every bit as good as Richard Ferrone who’s one of my favorite narrators.

Don’t listen to the bad reviews

As another commenter mentioned the first book was good and was laying down the foundation and then this book really kicked into overdrive! The action, the vivid details and descriptions telling a story like I’ve never heard before! This is a set that you should definitely invest in! Keep going! I can’t wait to start book 3!

The ending! 😩

Excellent read! But the ending, I don’t know, it was to abrupt for me. I didn’t expect it to be finish and was a little disappointed ☹️

Scary and illuminating

If this book doesn't make you rethink some of the choices you've made, then you have no conscience. The struggle of good vs. evil is brought to a personal level.
