Stubborn, Stupid man!
I spent the entire book angry and frustrated with a whiny Parker. Adult much, dude? Listen? Hear? It is a credit to the author that she stayed true to his dense, damaged and emotionally stunted character - even while every single guy and co-worker he cared about and trusts told him NOT to jump to conclusions and to see what she has to say first... ... it was almost like he WANTED to feel awful and sad and f***ed up... you'll probably find yourself wondering WTF does Skyler see in this guy again? The fact that she was unwavering, patient, and hopeful sends a message that she has no idea how very emotionally damaged and stunted he is. She might now, tho.
