Publisher's Summary

They’re serving up some red-hot revenge. A sizzling series from #1 New York Times bestselling author Rachel van Dyken.

Blaire has never quite gotten over Jessie Beckett, the ex-NFL star whose kisses were hot enough to ignite the entire Eastern Seaboard. When he chose work over her, Blaire was left brokenhearted. Why else would she have married a skeezy two-timer, just to divorce him less than a year later?

Now Blaire is getting even by becoming one half of Dirty Exes, a PI firm fully committed to humiliating cheating jerks. If only the new jerk she’s been hired to uncover wasn’t Jessie Beckett himself.

Exposing Jessie isn’t going to be easy, especially when she still daydreams about his sexy smile. Further complicating matters is Colin, Jessie’s best friend. He’s gorgeous, a little bit cunning, and willing to help Blaire get the inside scoop on Jessie - for a price.

Now caught between two men - one totally right and the other totally wrong - Blaire will need to decide just how much she’s willing to risk...and whom she’s willing to risk it for.

I really enjoyed this book. I didn't realize it was a spin off from Matchmakers but it was great. I loved how silly and clumsy Blaire is, her character was fun. Jessie was interesting but has issues and Colin was the best! I liked that this book didn't go where I expected it to go and it was different. Can't wait to start the next book!

Narration was great. I love that we get 3 POV's so we get 3 narrators!

A Gem Among the Masses

There are books that just crack you up within the first few lines this book was that for me. I loved it, I love all the different characters the fact that we get three narrators who all play their roles so well.
I seriously couldn’t stop smiling or laughing throughout this book.

I have been a fan of Rachel Van Dyken’s for a long time and she never fails to make me smile. She makes reading or listening so easy and brings me so much joy.
I can’t wait to see what will happen in the next book I have a feeling it’s going to be just as fun and entertaining as this book was.

Truly a gem among the masses, I highly recommend.

Again the narration FANTASTIC, I am a new fan of Kristin Watson Heintz now she really is a great Blaire. I am a long-time fan of both Joe and Teddy so I just enjoyed as I always do when they narrate.

Don’t Bother

I was 4 chapters shy of finishing the book. Just couldn’t do it. Didn’t even care what I missed at the end. Lots of filler and no substance. And this is Book One???

Disappointed version of Fraternize

I really wanted to love this book. I tried. I am a big lover of this author and she writes some pretty great books, but this one just didn't do it for me. Not to mention I felt too much like Fraternize, which I loved and is a much better version of this book. It was done so well.

I'll start with what I did like. The narration was really good. I got the same warm feelings I got when listening to Fraternize. I love the triple narration. It makes the book so fun to listen to and really gives each of the characters their own voice, literally. I love Joe Arden, he is a huge favorite of mine along with Teddy Hamilton. They are both amazing to listen to. So I'd highly recommend the audiobook because you will seriously enjoy it.

From the very beginning of this book I disliked Blair. Why do you ask? Because she is your typical woman scorned after she walks in on her husband cheating on her with her best friend and he has no remorse. So what does she do, she starts a PI business exposing cheaters. Yeah, Blair is a jerk. So of course she gets a new assignment and goes "undercover" to expose a new client when it turns out to be none other than a guy she dated in the past. He's an ex-football player whom she dated for three friggin weeks and never got over, and who she blames for rushing into her marriage. So Blair is extra determined to find Jesse cheating, especially when he shows interests in her through text messages. He never kisses her by the way.

So I will again say that I wanted to like this book, but Blair was a completely unlikable person. Her determination to find fault with both Jesse and Colin was annoying. I don't like that she made a career out of exposing cheaters. She finds out at the end that getting one side of the story for exposing people isn't always what's right. I mean she videotapes them in the act on Facebook Live. That's some messed up stuff. I really wanted to love this book, but I couldn't get past those things. The writing is still amazing and the story is really funny. I just have a few hangups.

Thoroughly entertaining

Dirty Exes is a really fun first book in a series. After being cheated on, Blaire makes it her business to expose cheaters. When she finds herself investigating her first love, Jesse she gets unexpected help in the form of his best friend, Colin.
Lots of laughs, plenty of emotion, heat and romance. Thoroughly entertaining on audiobook.

Enjoyable Book

This was a pretty amusing book. PI's trying to catch cheaters when they are hired to follow and catch Blaire's ex-boyfriend cheating, but they are hired for the wrong reasons, Jesse wife Vanessa wants to catch him so she can blackmail him into staying with her. Blaire unwittingly recruits the help of Jesse's best friend and Vanessa's brother Collin who actually likes Blaire and eventually convinces her that she has feelings for him also. The antics of the PI's Blaire and Isla are amusing.

Not my kind of story

This was not my to go author. I got this on sale and wanted to try to see if I like it. I did liked the performance but not the story. I had a hard time connecting with the main characters. Also, I didn’t like any of the characters in this story or enjoy listening to it. The ending just felt force and rushed.

Super cute

This was a new author for me! Loved this book. The characters are all lovable and the love story had just enough steam to be spicy. But the story was funny and heartfelt. Great read from beginning to end!
