Stars slow then picks up

This book is about 3.5 starts but I rounded up.

It started slow and I didn’t really care about the characters at first. Which is bad for a survival tale, they get a little better but can be kind of annoying.

Pod People remake!

In this lightweight horror tale we come across Behemoths, Infectors, and of course Molters. The story reminds me of a cross between Pod People and Alien. Our protagonist Jonah disliked the life he led and the wimpy person he was. As the apocalypse appeared and spread, Jonah transformed himself into a soldier and leader of sorts. Some of the technicals are off and require more study; like the Squad Automatic Rifle (SAR). Did he mean a Squad Automatic Weapon (SAW)? Anyway the story wasn’t too bad. I gave extra credit for a bit of originality. This audiobook was given by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom.

Kind of a goofy horror story

The characters were somewhat goofy in their dialogue and decisions. The story wasn't too bad and neither was the narration.

Unusual Post-Apocalyptic

I did enjoy listening to this different story. The story is based around mainly 1 character Jonah and ex-soldier and ex drug addict who talks his friends (Eric, Sharon, Daisy, Gil and Danielle) into taking a trip to his old base in Germany, all become sick and then he travel thru out Europe .But left me wondering how the molters actually came about taking over human bodies, this is where it became interesting nd action occurs. The ending a little abrupt left me wondering if this was going to be a series to find out what happens to Doreen and Swen.
