An Epic Dive into Aztec History, Through Neighboring Eyes
Moctezuma Xocoyotzin isn’t just a trip back in time to ancient Mexico; it’s a journey that lets you see history as a living story, with relevance even today. This audiobook is an absolute gem! The author’s storytelling is so vivid that I could practically smell the incense and hear the bustling streets of Tenochtitlan.
What really blew me away was how it shed light on Moctezuma and his era from multiple angles. It’s not just about the Aztec Empire; it’s about the intricate web of relationships with neighboring towns. Plus, the narrator’s voice was so engaging; I found myself binge-listening like it was a Netflix series.
