Love the Concept, not the Character

This book had potential to be a lot more. The plot itself and the idea of the two characters is unique and fun but the main character had so many immature moments, it became hard to reconcile. I enjoyed the fast pace of the book so you don't feel like you're wasting any time getting to the romance scenes, but the interaction between the two characters never fully developed and seemed a little forced -- probably because there wasn't time to really delve into their backgrounds. Overall the performance, concept, and plot were good and the romance scenes were great. Which, let's be honest, is what most people care about in a book like this, right?

Great Read

Misadventures with a Professor (Misadventures, #15) was a great read by Sierra Simone. Zandy didn’t want to start grad school as a virgin. Her father finds her a job as a research assistant the summer before she was to begin her master’s degree. She is supposed to spend a night in London before she begins her job and is determined to hook up that night. Oliver isn’t looking forward to his new research assistant living with him. Zandy never expected that the man she lost her virginity to, would also be the professor she is working for. I really enjoyed reading Zandy and Oliver’s story and I can’t wait to read more by Sierra Simone.

yes Professor

Is it terrible that the accent made this book? lol. I know I'm an accent whore, but Oliver's accent totally worked for me. Misadventures with a Professor is a combination of tropes that work together to make a diverting misadventure.

Hot & Sexy

Its true Sierra Simone never fails to please her readers & listeners. This was the first time I had heard a book from Natalie Eaton and Roger Hampton. And let me assure that I wasn't disappointed at all. Roger Hampton was at spot on with his accent. It seems to amaze me Simone's style of writing and her stories. Definitely two thumbs up for the narrators.

Sighworthy!!!

Loved this story SO much!! The romance HOT!! HOT!! HOT!! To narrators Natalie and Robert...... Good job.....you really brought this beautiful story to life!!

GOOD STORY…BAD FEMALE NARRATOR

The female narrator pauses so long after each sentence that even after I speed up the narration to 1.6 it’s still grading on my nerves. I put up with it for the story and the lost credit but this one had me rubbing my temples begging for the males narration to come on faster.

Sierra Simone is 100% my favorite smut writer, can never complain about the story or the phrasing! But the ending did feel a little rushed and ruined it a little for me. Loved the narrators, especially the woman! Overall it was super hot, good story, and I’m definitely going to listen again!

Two thumbs up for Eaton and Hampton a performance well done.

I love it when there is a heavy life lesson blended seamlessly into a charming story. Well “kinky” charming. ;). Even today’s supposedly progressive society has made something as natural and necessary as sex into a villain. People are judged for who and what they desire and need. In my opinion the kink in these pages is more fun and fluff than deviant. Which is a word that was thrown out as judgement and did a fair amount of damage. But Zandy with her innocent exuberance and determination and quirk managed to turn it into what it should be. A wonderful and fun way of life and love for her and her Professor. I have read several books from this misadventure series and have enjoyed each one and will be going back for more. I especially enjoyed Simone’s style so I’ll be looking up her other works as well.
