Great Read

Misadventures with a Firefighter was a great read by Julie Morgan. Cara Murphy is a New York City kindergarten teacher with tenure on the horizon. She won't let any man distract her. Noah Hughes is a firefighter who lives solely for the happiness of his five year old son. He meets Cara at a club and they share a hot night of passion. Their spark is quickly doused during their surprise second encounter. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

This book had me from the beginning to end.

Amazing

This was perfectly amazing listen. Everything was perfect from characters to narrators to writing. I loved it.

She’s always a kindergarten teacher

This was a color by numbers, formula romance. He has a studly job; she has a little wifey job.
Cook, nanny, or teacher are the go-to jobs for sweet girls when the other formula single dad trope gets thrown down. And of course, she’s not just a teacher, she’s a kindergarten teacher.

This was basically a one night stand that turned into a series of nights and then a relationship.
Other than sex and a kid to draw them together, there wasn’t much in the way of activities or shared interests to make me buy the romance. Fine for a one and done listen.

Meh

I am not a fan of giving bad reviews but this is one of those story that I can't give a good review. I really tried to enjoy this book but Alexander Cendese couldn't save this mediocre story. Samantha's bizarre accent was just annoying at times.
