Great hot story

A really different rebound storyline. These two were sizzling the sheets. Loved the writing and narration. Going to have to get more from this author.

I was looking for something to read, it's not easy to find an interesting storyline with enjoyable characters. This one hit the spot! Way to go, Ms. Rowe!

lighthearted

I loved the instant attraction and friendship between the two main characters, the easy dialog and honesty between them. I love how Protective Aden became over her, her Betsy but fiery personality. That she got her revenge with the ex and with the high-school jock. I loved that the ending interlocked with a previous story.

Great Read

Misadventures on the Rebound (Misadventures, #16) was a great read by Lauren Rowe. Savannah was having a bad that started with her losing her dream job. She winds up in a bar on the way to Las Vegas, drowning her sorrows in whiskey. She isn’t sure why she is still trying to go to her high school reunion. The only reason she wanted to attend was to show off her hot man to the captain of the football team. Savvy feels as though her luck is changing when a sexy biker walks into the bar. Aiden seemed like just the distraction she needed. I enjoyed reading Savvy and Aiden’s story and can’t wait to read more by Lauren Rowe.

My Thoughts on Misadventures on the Rebound

This story took an unexpected direction. But that certainly wasn't a bad thing. I never felt like I knew what way the story was going to go next. I never knew what the characters were going to do or say. All of that made for quite the misadventure story. Lauren Rowe has become an author I can count on to give me a good story and Misadventures on the Rebound was no exception.

Savvy was funny and sassy and passionate. She felt things deeply and sometimes quickly but she was a good person and had some pretty crappy luck with men. She's the kind of character you root for and need to see them get their HEA.

Aiden was a different kind of leading man. His past was unexpected. His present was surprising yet a big factor in this story. He's definitely a loveable main character though. From his very first introduction he's interesting and supportive and he made Savvy feel all the things she should feel.

This was overall a really good new story from a favorite author. And it's a credit to the Misadventures series as it makes me want to read more of them.

The narrators once again did a really good job with this one. I love Lauren Rowe's high energy and the emotion she shows. John Lane did a great accent and that growly tone does it for me every time.

Another Great Lauren Rowe story!!!

How I loved it! Adrian is the son of grifter. He taught his Adrian all he knew. And how to con an innocent woman. As he enters a pub, following his need to push his bike several miles to the local garage, Asian sees the most gorgeous woman he's ever seen. After introducing himself, he finds Savvy - short for Savannah - to be the perfect target. However he also finds Savvy is the perfect woman for him, and doesn't want to involve her in his mess with his father.

Savvy being a graduate from Stanford, she's not one to give in easily. Ever.

Soon, Adrian realizes that he's not only met the girl of his dreams, he's also met the perfect hacker to solve his fathers biggest problem... a gun pointed to his head unless Adrian manages to come up with $50,000 in cash - the money his Dad owes the Loan Shark!

Savvy has also learned that Adrian pawned his Grandfather's famous guitar Betty for $25,000. The other $25,000 is to come from his Dad's rich female friend. The only catch.... Adrian has to spend 48 hours having sex with her. A woman twice his age who repulses Adrian, but he'll do it fort $25,000 to save his Dad's life.... unless Adrian and Savvy can come up with something else.

What better solution in Vegas, that to put a born and bred Vegas gal, who just happens to be one of the world's best hackers to the task.

This story makes you cringe, laugh, cry, be fearful, worry and despise a certain wealthy woman.
The sparks that fly between Savvy and Adrian could make the letters melt off the pages!!

Lauren Rowe's writing talent is perfection, as is her narration, as is John Lane's!

Definitely worth the price, no matter how you pay!!!

I love Lauren ROWE I love all her books and I love when she does the Of when JOHN LANE Does the performance with her because they do such a great job They're just great together and her books are great and I just love all her books I buy every single one of them I wish there was more to buy I think I have them all and I'm glad that I stumbled on to them I'm trying to buy the Brothers books from from the big epic but the club book I have her and when she fell in love with the rich rich rich boys guy I have her newest books I have her older books but I'm trying to get all her brother's books you know books are expensive especially when you have to buy the E book and then buy the The audio so I spend it's expensive especially when you're in a tight budget and you live on social security I have to listen to the books I can't read anymore with my eyes going bad but but she is the bomb I love her books and I love her voice a lot of people don't like her voice I love it Perfect voice for book reading Love Lauren ROWE 😍 💕 ❤

Good Story But...

HORRIBLE male narration. The guy sounds like he's holding his breath the entire time and is about to run out of breath in the middle of his sentences.

It really was painful to listen to.

Way to rebound!

I loved this audiobook, maybe more than reading the book ☺️ but that’s because of the awesome job that both Lauren Rowe and John Lane do on the narrative of this story. I just live the book while listening to them♥️

Savvy is a one smart cookie who had bad luck with men but all that changes when she meets Aiden in the bar on the way to Vegas.

As in all other works of art done by Lauren, this book is caulk full of lol moments, stunning situations and really hot sex.

I always get a handful of sayings when I read/listen to Lauren’s books and this one is no different. Smiles lit up my face with this book, and I cheered both Savvy and Aiden through their experience.

I really want to meet a guy like Aiden when my give-a-shitter is ever broken because for a tatted up musician, prior felon biker dude he sure has a big heart and knows how to treat a gal.

It was so nice that Lauren mentioned characters from another Misadventure book and we had a peek into what those characters were up to, it was an awesome listen as expected from a favourite author of mine.

It blows my mind that I literally hear Lauren and John’s voices when I read any of Lauren’s books now. I really look forward to having both the ebook and audiobook as well.

Good Surprise

So this was my first listen from both of the narrators and let me assure you that I wasn't disappointed at all.
