Great Read

Misadventures in Blue was a great read by Sierra Simone. Cat Day is a senior detective that has a hard rule about not dating cops. The fact that her fiancé tragically died several years ago doesn't help. Rookie Jace Sutton shows up and she feels desire that she hasn't felt in years. Jace immediately knows that he is attracted to and wants Detective Day. He wants to be the one that thaws the Ice Queen but also wants so much more from her. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

Another great listen by Sierra Simone

Another awesome book by Sierra Simone. Kat & Jace are amazing together. The steamy scenes are so darn hot. We all need a Jace in our lives!! Awesome Narration by Teddy Hamilton & Jill Redfield.

Performance: Teddy and Jill were perfect together - 5 stars. His sexy voice and her matured female voice made the story.
Story itself: 4.5 stars - I wish the story was longer, its was that good but just needed more!

Gruff Teddy, Yep

Teddy narrates the young rookie cop, Jill the seasoned detective.

Sparks fly - I'm not even sure what to say about this one. Teddy's performance kept me glued to this listen. I will definitely listen again.

Steamy cop age-gap

Wow. This delivered everything I was wanting from this book. I have been dying to read my first Sierra Simone and this did not disappoint!

This misadventures series are quick, steamy reads that pack a powerful punch and Sierra Simone hit it.

This is a cop, age-gap romance in which the heroine is older (YES!). In the story...they meet and hours later he’s banging at her door. Literally. (See what I did there 😉) And while yes, this is a quick read it’s got enough meat in it to not just be reading one long sexual encounter. 👌🏼

Liked it not Loved it

This was the first book from Sierra Simone that disappointed me a little. For me Teddy Hamilton was perfect, but I was disappointed with Jill Redfield. It felt like she was yelling at me. But overall I would still recommend it.

IT IS SO GOOD! ON EVERY LEVEL!

Oh WOW!! It is so good on every level! The storytelling, the angst, the emotion, the chemistry, the narration... This is a true winner!! Two people that have so much at stake, they have so much on the line yet the chemistry and the attraction is completely palpable. The writing is so well done that it really shouldn't surprise me since it's the genius of Sierra Simone at the helm! And then add Jill Redfield and Teddy Hamilton and it's PERFECTION! The sexy factor is THERMONUCLEAR! Outstanding!

The cop and Mrs. Robinson

Whoo! That was a raunchy ride between 24 year old Jace and 37 year old Cat. I loved that Cat was a competent and confident lady. Well, at least when it came to being a detective. I was mildly disappointed at Cat’s “who could want an old lady like me” pity party and her stubborn insistence on keeping him at arms length because he’s a cop- these were valid and mostly well told plot points … they just went on too long for what was a short, sexy novella.

The sex was definitely, deliciously dirty in all sorts of “yes sir, officer” and “you have the right to remain turned on” kinds of ways. It was so great that I forgave the sporadic use of the C word, which usually fizzles the sizzle. There are multiple naughty scenes to make this novella a good bang for your buck,
if you wait for a sale.

4.5! HOT STORY AND Excellent narration!

I love Sierra Simone and her writing style and then you add in Best of Male Narrators Teddy H, and well it is going to be good. This one is no exception! Jill Redfield (who I have not heard since the Sylvia Day Crossfire series) is great in this one too! (Although she will always be Ava to me -lol). 4.5 Red Hot stars 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Loved this book!

If you love Sierra Simone's work (how could you mot?) pick up this Audio! The story is fantastic. I love the older heroine. The narrators where fanastic amd fit the characters well!
